- Chapter 8 - Return to Olympus

3rd Person POV

As Heron, Evios and Kofi had taken over the ships below chambers and freed the people enslaved, they made their way to the deck.

There were multiple demons as they fought each of them yet one was able to blow the horn, alerting the other ships.

As the ships rammed with each other. Hermes had appeared behind Zeus and told him what he had seen. Hera was scheming with Seraphim.

On Heron's side, a roar was heard as something flew towards them, and then a demon landed on the deck, it was Seraphim and he held a familiar sword, that cut through everything as if it were liquid.

And so lightning struck the deck of the boat, but it didn't stop as Zeus sent an onslaught. The people were scattered as the waves became horrifying.

Zeus continued that the other Gods stopped what they were doing, some had woken up to hear the loud rumble and when he finally stopped there wss a large hole in the middle of the clouds.

He noticed the judgemental stares from the rest of the Gods, including Poseidon. Hera smirked as she watched the scene play.

Heron released a deep sigh as he made his way to the beach, tired from the swimming as his heart rested up after the whole ordeal.

But a hand outstretched to him as he looked up, seeing Katherine but her eyes were finally open. It held a lot of emotions, he finally understood the meaning of the phrase 'The eyes are the windows of the soul.' or something of the sorts.

He stood up as they looked at each other awkwardly. "What are you doing here?" "To protect you, for three reasons" she sighed "Look I may have protect or approached you because of Zeus and Your mom but now. ."

"It's what I want. I care about you and Electra not because Zeus asked me to." She said nervously as she stepped back "I'm sorry that I kept things from you."

"It's fine" Heron said as he scratched the back of his neck "I'm sorry for all those things I've said. I can't stay mad at you anyways."

A sad smile appeared "That's what your mother said."

He laughed nervously "You should have seen when she scolded me." She chuckled at that. "Heron." they turned to see Alexia.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Someone has to save you" she said. Evios coughed "What the hell happened back there?" "The Gods have entered the fray." they turned to see Elias, or Zeus for Heron and Katherine.

"You." Alexia mumbled.

"You know him?" Heron asked, curious. "He and her" she nudged to katherine "Buried your mother." Heron turned to Katherine who nodded at him "It's true."

"Why are you here?" Heron asked as he stepped towards Elias who answered "To Help." "We don't need your help." he said as Katherine pulled him back "We'll need it. Hera is helping Seraphim so you'll die, along with me if she plans on it."

Heron shrugged her off and headed to the crates and pulled a sword out and tested it. "You can hate me all you want but it won't change the fact that you are the key to this war." Elias said calmly.
