The girls were all at Papa's Bakeria on a Monday afternoon, all bored and they decided to check on Bella Cherry to see what she was doing.
Suddenly, she comes out of the kitchen with roller skates on with a pie in her right hand. The girls look at her as she carries the pie to the table with no slips or hesitation. She then returns to the kitchen by doing a little spin, which leaves the girls shocked.
"How did you not fall on your face?" Whitney was shocked.
Bella Cherry went to them.
"A lot of practice. You do not want to know how many pies that I dropped. And how many times customers have yelled at me for dropping their orders and Timm and Cecilia scolding me because they think that it's a stupid idea."
"Let me guess, you're trying to impress a boy?" Hallie asked.
"How did you know?"
"Bella, it's obvious when you like somebody that you go above and beyond and end up being extra to try and impress them by doing risky things. Has he ever came to the Bakeria?" Catherine stated.
"He comes every Monday."
"And does he come with a girl?"
"Unless his sister counts, then no."
"Oh my gosh, you still like Carlo Romano? I thought you were over him?" Sana asked.
"You know when I fall for somebody, I fall hard."
"Jeez. Bella Cherry Salinski, when will you ever learn? Most of the guys you like or either taken by an idiotic and/or ugly girl or they don't like girls." Diana said
"Ugh! I know!"
Suddenly, Bella Cherry looked at the door and got very giddy.
"He's here!"
She did a spin and roller skated towards him. The girls looked at the guy that just walked in. He had tanned skin, chestnut hair, and he was very skinny.
"I mean he's not that bad looking." Hallie said.
"Hallie! You have a boyfriend!" Paris lightly slapped her back.
"Speaking about boyfriends, yesterday, you and Patrick were kissing during the fireworks." Whitney smirked.
"Yeah, we're dating." Paris got shy and blushed.
"Talk about character development! Look at you being an independent woman and finally choosing to find somebody that you like!" Whitney encouraged.
"It's only the first real day that we're dating and we haven't done anything yet." Paris said quietly.
"That's ok! You know, Blake didn't take me on a date for a whole week. And I was like at first, is he cheap or is he just shy? Turns out, he was so shy that he was scared that he would say something or do something wrong that i would get mad at him or something like that."
"Blake gets scared?"
"He's a Leo, but can get timid at times. He'll kill bugs but he's scared of heights."
"Blake is scared of things too, everybody has fears. In their own ways, everybody is a coward inside, but some it more than others. Of course, Ty and Patrick are more timid than Caleb and Blake. We're all different in our own ways. Some can catch a cricket at night while others are scared."
Catherine was looking at Bella cherry while she was talking with Carlo Romano at a booth. They were laughing and she slipped a piece of paper under his phone. That's when she turned around and winked at the girls and came to them.
"Let me guess, it went smoothly?" Catherine asked.
"You bet. I gave him my number and we could've spoke for hours upon hours."
"See? Talking to a guy isn't that hard!" Catherine said.
"That's because you don't get attracted to them unlike me."
"What did he order?"
Bella Cherry looked at the paper.
"Let's see... Creameo Crust, Cherry Filling, Fudge Fudge Fudge Filling, Chocolate Mousse on the Outer Ring, Shaved Chocolate on the Outer Ring, and 12 Raspberries on the Outer Ring." Bella Cherry read.
And her lips cracked into a smile.
"HE LOVES CHERRIES!"
She danced around in her roller skates and then slipped and fell.
"Owwie."
Diana giggled but Paris shhed her.
Bella Cherry got up.
"I need to tell Timm and Cecilia to take their time on this order, so I can have more time to talk with him." She skated into the kitchen happily and came out a minute later and went back to Carlo Romano by sliding across from him in the booth. Within a minute, they started laughing and the girls watched.
They were all enjoying individual slices of pie and they were nibbling on their pie.
"What kind of pie did you all get?" Paris asked.
"I got a vanilla wafer crust with banana filling and white chocolate drizzle." Catherine started.
"Traditional crust with plum filling and huckleberry syrup. You know, I'm just trying to eat healthier and reduce my sugar intake. The last thing i want is another sugar rush and crash." Diana added.
"Ladyfingers crust and peach filling with coconut shavings." Hallie poked at her crust.
"Gingersnap crust with cheesecake and wafers on top. Really good." Paris said with her mouth full.
"Chocolate crust, fudge filling, and chocolate moose." Sana added.
"Red velvet crust, marshmallow filling and chocolate whipped cream. Sounds gross but I vibe with it." Whitney said.
They were silent for a moment before a bell rang and Bella Cherry zoomed past them. She grabbed the pie and mouthed "wish me luck" to the other girls. They all gave her a thumbs up.
They all watched as Bella Cherry was very careful with her steps, making sure that she does not slip and fall. As tense as it was to watch, she managed to make it and Carlo Romano offered a slice of her pie. She sat down and they were chatting along, laughing and enjoying each other. The girls could watch from the sidelines.
"Watching your friends fall in love makes me feel like an old mother watching her daughter get engaged. Even though i'm the youngest out of all of you, it makes my heart warm inside because I feel like I set an example for once, after starting to date Blake." Hallie cooed.
"You're so cute when you act like that." Diana teased.
"I'm serious. One day, we'll all find the one that we love, it might not be now, but weather it's a guy or a girl or non binary, who knows?"
