Neo Arcadia–Yami Ni Saku Niji
As Night
spills
over the meadow
and
across the sky,
a shadow is cast,
the king
of all things
dark and dead
sits
on his throne
of stone and bones
a word
or two
to the flickering
shadows,
messengers,
at his feet,
disappearing in silence.
He stands
his black tresses
cascading
down his broad shoulders
and flowing
over his black cloak
black
shrouds him
except for his
face and hands
which
are white
like ivory
his steps
are smooth
and confident
his statuesque form
striding
across the ground
the air around him
is strange
and dark
thick,
intriguing,
stifling.
wordlessly
the lord tends to
the domain he rules
despite
his menacing aura
he is an unswerving
king
countless, endless years
of ruling
since the beginning of time
there was nothing
before his rule of the
shadow land,
mostly,
the dark side has no
troubles,
troubles are a part of the
shadow land
and bothers with the light
more.
The king
walks back to the grounds
of his castle
