Jesus fucking christ. I always find myself running out of words whenever this happens. When I reach a milestone I feel so fucking happy, despite any stress or panic I may be feeling, and right now I- am not doing well mentally but this...is honestly a welcomed relief.
I don't know how well I'd feel or be without the lot of you. I really don't. So as reward, like I do with many of my vote specials, here is another au, one that I call Breezepelt of ThunderClan. Here we go! ****** So this AU was made from a one-shot idea I had, that was 'what if Breezepelt joined ThunderClan'? If you want the basics look at the one-shot called "My Place is Here", I was thankfully gifted this idea, (even though it took ages for it to publish because Wattpad was ridiculous that day), and it looked at Breezepelt- well joining ThunderClan, and it took place before the reveal that the Three were also Crowfeather's kits XD. So here are the basics;
- Breezepelt basically gets tired of Crowfeather and Nightcloud constantly arguing, and decides to run away, though he falls and gets quite injured.
- Waking up in ThunderClan's medicine cat den, his leg is broken and he needs to spend quite a while in ThunderClan, WindClan not seeming to notice where he's gone.
- He does end up getting closer to the Three, alongside Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, and soon privately goes to find Firestar, asking if he is able to stay in ThunderClan.
- When Crowfeather and Nightcloud finally come to WindClan, Breezepelt declares to stay in ThunderClan, and basically disowns them as his parents.
- Firestar then names Breezepelt a member of ThunderClan, keeping his name and being pretty much adopted into the Three's family.
So these are the things that would change/go further in this au;
- Breezepelt and Heathertail would either not happen, or it'd be a forbidden romance. I feel like if it did the Three would probably try to help him.
- Breezepelt would have different bonds with the Three. Hollyleaf he would have normal conversations with, Lionblaze he would be quite boastful to and the two would probably have competitions when hunting and have each other's backs a lot. Jayfeather and Breezepelt I reckon would insult each other out of care, and silently chuckle whenever they give an insult to the other.
- Breezepelt would be told by Jayfeather when he's told by Yellowfang that Crowfeather is the father of Jay, Lion and Holly. I feel like he'd be angry at his father at first, but with the care of the Three and realising this means he has more family than the 'parents' who constantly bickered.
- Hollyleaf would probably still run into the tunnels, because she would still kill Ashfur, but Breezepelt would also be affected by this.
- Breezepelt would not join the Dark Forest. He would not have a reason to, and I reckon would actually be able to help Ivypool with her insecurities about not being good enough compared to Dovewing.
- Cos of the sibling relationship, I feel like Breezepelt would be let into the secret of the Three, and he helps try to keep them safe and figure out how this all works, while not knowing what to do.
But yeah, the gist of this au is pretty much Breezepelt joins ThunderClan and gets basically adopted by the Bramble and Squirrel fam. I just- as much as I bash the dumbass I really do like Breezepelt, and feel like certain parts of his character could be explored, and more depth can help him develop like Crowfeather's Trial and his relationship with Heathertail. I never imagined this book would become what it has, let alone my ACCOUNT becoming what it has. I know updates have been so fuckin slow, I have not been in the best place mentally (as much as I try to ignore it) and I have 4 of my assignments due in a couple weeks so I have been stressed beyond relief, so please be patient, I'll probably close requests on the x reader book too. But yeah, I love you all, and thank you so much for still being here. It brings me so much joy and happiness to know that you all care and appreciate my writing.
