Chapter 9

Without hesitation, Y/n killed the demon's head off with ease as she searched around the room, looking for anyone alive apart from the old man who already had maggots being grown in by the demon's attack

Then there was a bit of rustling near the closet beside Y/n as she tensed up her spine, still not wielding her sword forward as she chose to observe first

'Should I say anything?', Y/n didn't saw her coin as she was confused about what to do

she remained silent as whimpers approached

Y/n slowly backed away as in the right time, there was a lump of sharp knives on where she was standing before, causing her to immediately back away with her body was still off guard, falling by the other side of the floor with a few deep cut below her knees

"Fu~ Fu~ I see another cute maiden to eat!~", it snarled as Y/n quickly got up, ready to attack any moment

"Hi?", the demon said as Y/n was only silent

"Hey~! Hey! are you deaf or mute!", it started to yell as it turned to laughter

Y/n also spotted the demon she killed off before, its body was not disintegrating from the start as its body started to mold and get absorbed by the demon

"I also see that you're a demon slayer~ You seem to be the youngest one I ever encountered!", it exclaimed 

"Oy! how long are you gonna remain quiet-", the demon's tongue was cut off clean as Y/n's sword created a saber trail as she stood behind the demon, its neck was inches away from her sword 

"Ah. AH!", The demon's tongue grew in seconds as a gush of wind was struck towards Y/n, retreating as she dodged it

"It...pretty tight here...why not do it outdoors! by that, I get to eat more people!", Y/n being her, was just silent

"Are you still gonna talk?", the demon snarled in annoyance as Y/n continued attacking the demon as a giant knife was again behind her, causing it to pierce a bit behind her back as she flipped over above it as she swirled her sword around, causing a pink saber trail this time and successfully cutting the demon's head off, it started to disintegrate this time but still psychotically smiled as its last words were

"See you later cutie!~ I bet Doma-sama be happy to eat ya!~

Y/n got confused about was the name the demon mentioned was and completely forgot that she broke a few bones and had a few deep cuts around her, she got up as if nothing happened to her and cleaned the place, that was when her phone rang, it was a message from Mori 

'Hey, Y/n-chan!~ it seemed that the target was already killed, there also be an investment around for who the culprit was but mind coming home now? Elise-chan misses you but I miss you most!', the text ended with an emoji with a sad face with puppy eyes and hearts

Of course, since Y/n was obedient and pretty much capable at everything, she was also the one who gained Mori's and executive Koyo's trust by the day they met, she was favored the most

And the good thing was that she didn't have any certificate or wasn't given any information about how in any police station or internet where lot there were many hacks for one's valuable information, though she was given natural birth in a house or the slums

Y/n quickly read off the text and departed as a crack was heard from her knee, causing her to helplessly fall on the floor

Though it must be a huge pain for having a major fracture such as that, she felt no pain as there were finally people who looked forward towards her, she used a handler for some support to get up and continued walking.    

'Hmmm...that demon...what did it say again?...', she went out to the streets as there were hardly any people to be seen since it was pretty late

Y/n then aggressive cough out as she collapsed on the floor, finding that there was poison in her cuts, slowly turning her spilling blood into dark blue 

'I think...I should cut that off?', Y/n raised her knife to cut her skin off which was currently getting irritated by the poison as her coin was seen far from her, it seemed that it fell off before she entered the base, it started to rain as Y/n was all wet, still on the ground as the poison was eating her off

she paused as the poison seemed to fully get absorbed

'I think I die I guess? I lived good enough...', there was silence as Y/n got up, still having fractures around.

'I hear a bike nearby...I should probably clear up my blood before the person freaks out or I should knock him out maybe?...'

"HEY!", a yell was heard as it was Chuuya

"E-Executive...", Y/n stuttered while trying to get up to bow as she realized that she was all well now, the cuts weren't that deep anymore and the poison let all the tracks as it evaporated away

"Are you okay?!", he asked in a worried tone while Y/n nodded in Chuuya's question with having her usual smile on

"Damn this shit, Come with me.", he gripped Y/n's wrists tightly while heading to his bike, since Y/n was now in a direct contact with Chuuya with the other point that he was using his ability, she couldn't move more much since her stamina was still low but luckily had the coin.

Later 

Y/n was now sitting on a port mafia executive's bike, a highly ranked member and also respected, with the executive rubbing alcohol to Y/n's light cuts with cotton as gently as he could, probably rubbing it too hard that it just made her cuts bleed more, earning a tch from him

He then turned to Y/n's face as it had a cut on her right cheek, slowly turning to that, he noticed that their faces were inches away

Y/n by the other hand, probably not getting the clue as it was just an awkward moment as she just smiled much wider, causing Chuuya to fall off the bike, almost as his ability pull him back up

"Ah...", that was the only word Y/n could spurt out as she couldn't decide a single thing without the coin, she gazed at the coin again as she noticed that there was a black dot behind it

'Maybe it's the mud?', Y/n cluelessly thought as she rode back to the Mafia base while riding on Chuuya's bike, she could have noticed the whole time that his heads were hot all the ride
