I am sitting in the car with my new family the man, Billy said that his son, Jacob, had already set up my room for me. When we pull up in the drive Jacob gets Billy out and we walk/roll up to the house.

Jacob takes my very few bags while Billy shows me around the house, first we stop in the kitchen and go everywhere else. Then he shows me where his and Jacob's rooms are and then shows me mine. It is truly amazing "I love it," I say as I flop down on the bed "Good," Billy says with a small smile and rolls off so I can unpack. As I unpack I take out my Galaxy Buds and pop them in and listen to music while I unpack.

As a child you would wait
And watch from far away
But you always knew that you'd be the one
That work while they all play

In youth you'd lay

Awake at night and scheme
Of all the things that you would change
But it was just a dream!

Here we are, don't turn away now,

We are the warriors that built this town
Here we are, don't turn away now
We are the warriors that built this town
From dust.

Will come

When you'll have to rise
Above the best and prove yourself
Your spirit never dies!

Farewell, I've gone to take my throne above

But don't weep for me
'Cause this will be
The labor of my love

Here we are, don't turn away now

We are the warriors that built this town
Here we are, don't turn away now,
We are the warriors that built this town
From dust.

Here we are, don't turn away now

We are the warriors that built this town
Here we are, don't turn away now
We are the warriors that built this town
From dust

After I am done unpacking I plop down on my bed and pick up my book Throne of Glass and start to read. I am interrupted in the middle of a page by someone knocking on my door I look up and Jacob just walks on in. "Oh, do come in," I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm "Don't mind if I do," he says putting his stinky feet on my bed. "Ew, Jake get those stinky things off my bed!" I tell him trying to shove his feet off, he just sticks them closer to my face! "I'm gonna die from that stench," I say pretending to faint from the smell. He starts laughing at me for the worst fake faint there ever was, and since laughter is contagious I end up laughing with him.

Later that night Jake asks me if I have ever worked on a vehicle before I tell him I have so he takes me down to the garage. When we get down there I see a rusted old chevy truck "Cool," I tell him as I nod my head to hit. I walk over and look for any extreme damage on the exterior, once my exterior examination is done I pop the hood. "We need to rebuild the engine, I hope you could help with the exterior and interior look," he says looking at me sheepishly, Jake is only a year older than I am but we are in the same grade. "Ok," I say with a shrug of my shoulders "We can start on it tomorrow," Jake says as we walk back to the house.

The next day comes and me and Jake start on the truck. I wear a white tank top with black leggings so I don't get any of my nice clothes dirty. I grab a stool so I can see the roof if there is any damage, there are a few holes but a little metal would patch it up. I climb inside the cab and am hit by its smell of tobacco "Ok, I'll be back," I tell Jacob as I walk back to the house. I grab my Galaxy Buds, a sewing kit, and a few essential oils for the smell. I walk back with my supplies when Jacob spots me "Oh, no no no, we are not scenting the garage," he says trying to stop me "Not for the garage you idiot it is for the smell in the cab," I say in a duh tone. "Oh," he says looking so embarrassed I walk over to the scrap metal "Jake do you have the stuff to fill the holes in the roof?" I ask. "Yeah," he walks over and hands me a few pieces of metal and a soldering iron "Now, remember," he says to me like I'm a three-year-old I glare at him and climb onto the roof again. Once I finish with the roof it is time for lunch so Jake and I leave the garage for a while. We find out by a note that Billy went fishing with Charlie, Jake seemed to know who Charlie is so I didn't ask. After a lunch that I made we head back to the garage and I pop my Galaxy Buds in.

Oh baby, don't you know I suffer?
Oh baby, can you hear me moan?
You caught me under false pretenses
How long before you let me go?

Ooh

You set my soul alight
You set my soul alight

Glaciers melting in the dead of night

And the superstars sucked into the super massive

(you set my soul alight)

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the super massive

(you set my soul)

I thought I was a fool for no one

Oh baby, I'm a fool for you
You're the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth?

Oh baby, I'm a fool for you
You're the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth?

You set my soul alight

You set my soul alight

Glaciers melting in the dead of night

And the superstars sucked into the super massive

(you set my soul)

Super massive black hole

Super massive black hole
Super massive black hole

Next, I start on the paint because Jake said we should paint over the solder. "No, you can not pick the color!" Jacob tells me for the millionth time because I keep begging him. We finally get paint, not of my choice, and head back.

When we finally finish we high five "Want ice cream?" I ask "You pay," Jake tells me with a smirk. "Fine," I roll my eyes as we get in the newly rebuilt truck and drive.
