I eventually gave in and stood beside her to have a view of the gorgeous dresses that were Hanging in the closet, the first one I spotted was a light pink dress that reached the bent of the knee and had a deep v neckline and was just absolutely gorgeous, but, it didn't stick out to me, I knew that one of the other girls would fit and wear this 10 times better then I would, so I carried on with my search
But that didn't last long, as my eyes catched the sight of a breathtaking dress, the dress was beautiful, from the colour to the little detailed shoulders, but that was nothing compared to the fact that THE flower was one of the main parts of the dress, making me shocked as to how the hell they got there
but my question was quickly answered once I looked back up and saw the maid smiling widely,
¨you know, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw you wearing The flower last time on your dress, not many people here know the true meaning behind it¨
I was still in shock, so the maids knew about the flower, maybe they are from the village...
¨ you do know what the Flower represents? right? ¨ she asked slightly unsure seeing my confused and slightly shocked daze, I chuckled
¨ of course I do, the anemone daisy represents a secret or unspoken message ¨ I spoke softly
Eli nodded her head as a proud smile made its way onto her face, she turned to me and smiled brightly before sitting down next to the dresses
¨ thank god! I was almost worried you did it unintentionally... it has been a long time since I have seen that flower... I haven't been in the village for almost 4 years, my daughter and I live in a small house next to the castle so that I am available at all times... has there been any change in the village? ¨
She asked softly as my eyes wandered to the ground, I felt sorry for how bad she must have been treated here but that also means

she doesn't know...
¨ These last few years have been pure and utter torture in the village, after the protests of the rebels a few years ago, heavy punishments were given out, we didn't hear a thing of the rebellion since then, people are to afraid to speak up, because if they do, they and possibly their whole family will be gotten rid off. but i do believe the rebels may be coming back... ¨
I said as I saw a spark grow into Elli's eyes, i can't imagine how hard this must be for her, not knowing what has been going on inside the village these last 4 years...
¨ h-how do you know? ¨ she asked with her voice slightly shaken,
¨about a month ago, the day before the prince turned 20, I saw paintings... paintings of the flower, there were small paintings of it on the buildings as well as on the streets, the flowers were also beginning to bloom in the grass field a few miles down the village indicating that someone has been taking care of them for the first time in 4 years, we also see shadows moving at night and leaving flower leaves on the streets, me and my friends strongly believe that this is the rebellion's way of saying that they have returned ¨
