Confused on this? well, ill give you a little definition.

First, you may need to know these terms:
DR: Desired Reality
Wr: Waiting room
AU: Alternate universe (I've gotten very used to using this term, so i thought id add it to avoid confusion.)

You will see those everywhere in the shifting community, so keep that in mind!

so, what do these even mean?

A desired reality is the reality you want to shift to. the possibilities are infinite! you can shift anywhere you could ever think of. Some people may shift to a show or book to go be with their kins or fictional crush, and some script their own reality and shift there! any AU you can think of, (or "create") exists, and you can go there as long as you have the belief, motivation, and patience.

Shifting takes different times for everyone. Some take months and possibly years, while others can shift within a few weeks. Don't let that bring you down though! Shifting is a fun journey and you WILL shift. just keep motivated, keep your vibrations high, and don't overwork yourself! take breaks!!

A Waiting room is a reality between realities. You can use it to script, to start shifting (i personally have decided  to shift to my WR first), etc. Your waiting room can be literally anything, but many people script out a house/room to have as a waiting room. Usually, people also script a way to get to their DR and CR. Its really fun to get creative with that :) i scripted something regarding drinks, which you will see later in this book. You do not need to have a waiting room!

do i need a script?

Nope! but is highly suggested, and useful! your script can be anything from vague to detailed. It is most important that you script what you feel you need, but what you want as well. Here are some things you can script:
Appearance
Clothing
Voice
personality
relationship status with other characters
other characters,, characteristics

what you smell/hear/feel when you shift (sort of like a "you shifted!" alarm, so you know when
its best to open your eyes)

safe word/action (saying/doing this will shift you back to your CR. its recommended to script that it only works when you do it intentionally, for some safe words or actions)

etc.
many people say that scripting is "writing a fanfiction of yourself" which is true, but not limited to that. i think it would depend on how you format it. Make sure to create your script in a way that's comfortable for you, and not hard to remember! Visualization is a key part to many shifting methods. When i scripted for my DR, i scripted my personal info kind of like a OC introduction, or like application almost?? i don't know. it looked like this
age:
height:
sex:
gender:
sexuality:
etc. i got more detailed for different things.

moving on!
