In the Beginning... [DreamSMP/SMPEarth book adaptation]

Yo.
    I just want to brief you all on how this story is going to work. I've had this idea in my mind for quite a bit now and I am actually pretty excited to put it all into fruition on paper. Who knew that a Minecraft YouTube relapse was all it took to breath life back into my creative writing and motivation.
   
    This story is gonna be a slow building plot. I'm starting basically at the beginning of everything (hence the title). I am translating all canon lore and Minecraft mechanics the best I can into a realistic setting. So this story is gonna have a very interesting dystopian/fantasy vibe and I am honestly pretty happy with how my brain is world building. The world is Earth. Within the world there aren't any countries, per say, just city states. Most SMPs will be their own city state and there will be a few countries and empires sprinkled in here and there (mainly for the benefit of the plot).
   
    The people on this earth are almost as diverse as the biomes covering its surface. Race, gender, or sexuality doesn't matter or effect how one lives. It's a very accepting society when it comes to that (with a few exceptions). Instead of discriminating based on any of those issues, society divides between the minority enhanced population of the world and everyone else who is ordinary. Enhanced or Hybrid people are humans or humanoids who are born with special abilities and/or physical traits that existed originally to give them an edge when it came to surviving the once cruel world. Abilities or traits either born through luck in the gene pool or the interbreeding between a human and creatures with a similar chromosome count such as Endermen and many others (i ain't gonna dive into that but do with it what you will). Hybrids used to be rare, especially naturally born hybrids, but ever since the growth of technology hybrids are more often made in labs or created by freak mutation in their DNA as a result of hereditary conditions unique to locations. Since the Algorithm Warm such experiments have been banned.

    The world had once looked to enhanceds as protectors and leaders. When the Algorithm War came (lmao YouTube algorithm) that all changed when many enhanced individuals switched sides and betrayed their city states/nations. The hate had existed before since society was already advancing past the need for enhanced beings, but the betrayal only made it worse. Driving the most powerful of the few into the wilderness or the outskirts of many cities and creating a massive segregated community where your entire reputation as a person could be ruined by your child simply being born an enhanced or a hybrid.

    City states, counties, etc... (currently):
- Mineplex (the largest of the city states, known for its elite military)
-Munchy (peaceful farmers)
-Hypixel (growing city state. keep an eye out for this guy)
-Jumpcraft (A nomadic warrior clan)
-Hive (second largest, fought with Mineplex in the Algorithm War. Sizable army)
-YouTube (decimated lmao. Now is under the control of Mineplex and Hive)
-Legacy SMP (small city state of builders and architects)

    I will be alternating POVs between chapters with most important characters. I won't go too crazy because if you aren't careful switching POVs frequently can get very messy and isn't good for audience retention. Main characters will most likely be Wilbur, Techno, Tubbo, Tommy, Dream, and maybe Sapnap, George, Niki, and the Muffinteers. But for the most part chapters will alternate between Sleepy Bois Inc and the Dream team.

    I will be following some important events from the SMPEarth server (cause we goin way back) and all of the DreamSMP events. It will no be word for word to the smp script except for a few baller quotes we all know and love.

    I will be including BOTH canon and headcanons in this book. So if you have any headcanons you want to see or any corrections to the canon story where I mess up, let me know
