"And yet I can't wait to be back," I said putting my head on Matt's shoulder
"I know Sunflower," He said
"Handsome are they listening to you?" I asked
"Yes," He said
"What movie are we going to watch?" I asked grabbing the remote
"Well Stella and Kelly aren't going to be back for a while," He said
"That doesn't answer my question," I said
"Okay hm how we watch Lucifer," He said
"That's a show," I said
"But it's a good show," He said
"Yes, and how many times have we watched?" I asked
"We can make it four," He said
"Fine only because I love you," I said
"Oh you do," He said
"Yes," I said
He grabbed the remote from my hand and went to Netflix so we could watch Lucifer After the first three episodes I yawned
"Is the Duchess tired?" Matt asked
"Yeah," I said
"You want to go to bed?" He asked
"Yeah," I said
We walked to his room
"Shirt," I said
He throw one at me. I put it on me
"Thank you," I said
I walked over to him and hugged him
"I love you, you know that right?" I asked
"Yes," He said
We heard the front door open
"And those two are home," I said
We walked over to his bed and laid down I put my head on his chest and rubbed his arm
"Why are we just lying not talking?" I asked
"Because we don't have to," He said
I looked up at him and he looked down at me
"No talking just eye contact," He said
"That's all we need to communicate," I said
"And we don't want to talk to each other we can use eye contact," He said
We fell asleep the next morning I woke to Matt coming back in with coffee
"What did I do deserve this?" I asked
"Who knows," He said
He sat on the bed and handed me the coffee
"Just the way I like it," I said after taking a sip
"Not black but creamer," He said
"Yes," I said kissing him
"How is that pain?" He asked
"Pain it hurts like bitch in the morning," I said
"Really," He said
"Nah," I said
He kissed me
"Danm," I said
"What?" He asked
I set my coffee down and kissed him
"So are we about to do it?" Matt asked
"Well now no because you spoke," I said
He set his coffee down and started kissing me
"Wait," I said
"What not here," I said
"You want to go somewhere else," He said
"Yeah," I said
We got dressed and walked out to my car and head to mine and Jay apartment
"Oh, and how do know he not home?" Matt asked
"It's 8 am so he at work," I said kissing him
"Oh really," He said
"Yeah," I said
We walked upstairs and started kissing each other he picked me and carried me to my bedroom and sat on my bed and took off my shirt and kissed my neck. I pushed him down on the bed and looked down at him and then memory started coming back. I got off of him and put my shirt back on and ran out of the room and to the bathroom and shut the door and slid against it
"Dammit, why am I like this? I ran out on him," I said to my self
I heard a knock on the door
"Meghan hey are you okay?" Matt asked
"No yes I don't know maybe I just don't know," I said
"Hey we don't have to," He said
"But Matt I want it I do," I said
"Hey Sunflower," He said
I moved over to the tub and leaned against it. Matt came in and sat next to me and put his arm around me and kissed my head I started crying
"Hey, baby girl it's okay," He said
"Matt I ran out," I said
"And it's okay," He said
"Matt," I said
"Sunflower I don't care," He said
"But I do," I said
"Meghan I don't care if we ever do it," He said
I stood up and sat on the counter and opened the cabinet and hit my head
"Ow," I said
"Hey that looked like it hurt," Matt said
"You think," I said
He came over and looked at the cut on my forehead
"Okay, where is your first-aid kit?" Matt asked
"Top drawer in the kitchen next to the sink," I said
Matt walked to go get it he came back with the first aid kit
"And now to clean that wound," He said
"I can do it," I said
"Okay," He said
I cleaned it
"All good," I said
"Now how about breakfast," Matt said
"That sounds amazing," I said
We walked out to the kitchen
"The bitch wrote a note," I said
"What," Matt said
"I feel bad for my brother," I said
"Why?" Matt asked
"Because it's stupid," I said
"What is?" He asked
"This drawer," I said
"What about it?" He asked
"She wrote a note before she left," I said
"Who?" Matt asked
"Erin," I said
"Oh," He said
"That was a bad relationship," I said
"How so?" Matt asked
"Don't ask," I said
"Okay," Matt said
"So we don't really have breakfast stuff," I said
"What," Matt said
"I sleep in on days off," I said
He came over and grabbed my waist and looked down at me and smiled
"So it 11 am and no food?" He asked
"We have food," Jay said walking in
"So you did something stupid?" I asked
"No we had no cases," He said
"Uh," I said
"What," Jay said
"You erupted our moment," I said
"Sorry," Jay said
"No your not," I said
Matt kissed me and smiled leaving his face close to mine
"Yep I'm going that way," Jay said
Me and Matt looked at each other
"He doesn't like this does he?" Matt asked
"What do you think?" I asked
"Well I can tell you one thing," He said
"What's that?" I asked
"That I love you," he said
I put my head on his chest and we just stood there no need to talk. Just us in the quietness of early afternoon
"We should go to Molly's tonight," I said
"And that's a first," Matt said
"What I want to people other than Kelly and Stella," I said
"Okay but first we need to eat lunch," He said
"Yes," I said
I walked over to the fridge
"How is it that we can find stuff dinner but not lunch," I said
"Because we are never here really for lunch," Jay said
"DO ever eat here?" Matt asked
Me and Jay looked at each other
"We eat here," Jay said
"Were the food then?" Matt asked
"Hm," I said
"Tell me," Matt said
"Okay Okay," I said
"Fine we let me grab the stuff," I said
I grabbed some stuff to make lunch
"Yeah I'm out," Jay said
"Okay fine but if die of a heart attack at 50 don't blame me," I said
"I'll just hunt you," he said
"Okay," I said
He left the apartment leaving me and Matt alone again
"What his problem?" Matt asked
"Not enough sleep," I said
He put his arms around my waist and kissed my neck
"I love you," He said

"We should get an apartment everyone thinks were single still so," He said
"Hm," I said
"What," He said
"I get to cook dinner," I said
"Deal," He said
"And," I said
"We don't have to have the same room," He said
"Okay," I said
I turned around and kissed him
"So no will know," I said
"Well we will have to tell the rest of 51 at some point," I said
"Nah," He said grabbing a piece of chicken
"Hey," I said
"What," He said
"You know what," I said
"No I have no idea what your talking about," He said
I punched him in the arm
