The house was quiet as I entered. It was close to 4am now. Walking into the living area Joan, Mycroft and my father were all asleep in their seats. I quickly walked straight to my computer and logged on, clicking on my emails. On the top of an ever growing list of emails was one labelled 'tape'. Email sender was unidentified. Clicking on the email there was a video attached.

The video showed our victim as clear as day. She got into the office using a key before running straight to the desk and grabbing the laptop. She quickly made her escape out the office window. She obviously knew what she wanted, there was no sign of hesitation. Whatever was on that laptop most likely secured her death. Her finger prints would most likely still be around the window latch. That would place her at the mansion, but it does not give hard evidence on her reasons or the assassin's role in her death. It was a start though. I sent the email through to Detective Bell before texting Captain Gregson.

'Proof of vic at mansn, tlk 2 dtve B' I texted.

'Bringing in Edgar Lois for questioning, be here in an hour' Captain Gregson replied a few minutes later.

"Excellent," I said out-loud. Joan stretched and yawned, now awake, followed by Mycroft and father.

"What is?" Joan yawned again.

"Mr. Lois is being brought in for questioning, I secured a security tape from my 'friend' which clearly shows Miss Tate stealing a computer from the building. It's enough to bring him in. However I do not believe Mr. Lois is as involved in this as we first thought, he did not know who stole from him, or who Miss Tate is according to my accomplice," I replied.

"I managed to dig further into his files. Edgar Lois has organized many crimes and murders, and gotten away with it, however he has a pattern of not harming women, or children. I don't believe he would have gone after and dealt with Cassandra as brutally as she was murdered," Joan said.

"Neither do I," I replied.

"So she steals one of his computers, but he has no link to her?" Mycroft asked.

"Not to him directly no, but that doesn't mean there's no link at all. I think it's about time we spoke to Mr. Lois about his head assassin," I replied.

Looking through the one-way glass, Edgar Lois appeared calm and collected. He didn't seem to have any worry at all about being questioned further.

"Alright, Sherlock you wanna come in with us?" Captain Gregson asked. I nodded, leaving Joan, Mycroft and my father in the room and joining Detective Bell and Captain Gregson in the interrogation room. I stood in the corner, Mr. Lois grinned at me.

"Ahhh Sherlock! I said we would be seeing each other soon, did I not," he laughed.

"Mr. Lois, we have some questions for you in regards to the recent theft of one of your personal computers," Captain Gregson said.

"What computer?" he replied, grinning. Detective Bell opened up a laptop, showing Mr. Lois his own security tape. He laughed once more.

"How did you come across this tape then? Was it Marcus? I bet it was Marcus, that rat," Edgar laughed.

"This is no laughing matter Mr. Lois. This girl in this video was murdered, not long after this theft took place," Captain Gregson said. Edgar looked more serious now.

"Murdered? This girl? You know who she is?" He asked, looking at me now.

"Cassandra Tate, a 21 year old waitress. For reasons unknown to us, she broke into your highly guarded mansion, with a key might I add, to steal a laptop. She then proceeded to be murdered with ricin in heroin, her hand cut off and taken. We have reason to believe you were linked to this through your head assassin," I replied. Edgar frowned.
