It was lunchtime and Seungmin's mind was wandering off to nowhere particular.
He had to hurry. If he didn't get to his favourite eating spot first, some other kids were going to take it for sure. Seungmin just wished it would become easier to navigate these crowded hallways. Civilized wasn't in anybody's dictionary.
Suddenly, his phone rang with a notification. That was odd. He hadn't gotten a notification in weeks.
Taking refuge at the side of the hallway, Seungmin went to check it. It was from Messages.
Felix has sent you a Message invite.
Well... this was a surprise. Seungmin hadn't kept in contact with any of the gang ever since his unforgettable conversation with Minho.
He had told Minho that he would give rejoining the group some seriously thought. And he had planned to, he really had. But in the end, it had just sort of... slipped his mind.
Seungmin knew that he just didn't want to discover that part of him, that part of him that really could forgive someone. Seungmin knew that once he actually decided to give Hyunjin a chance, he would have to go back to past.
Seungmin was too scared to do that.
But nevertheless, Felix was the last person Seungmin had expected to reach out again. The curiosity got the better of him.
Invitation has been accepted.
Felix:

Seungmin:

Felix:
minnie, long time no talk!
Seungmin:

Felix:

Seungmin:

ur school is near the Sunbucks at 8th Street, right?
Seungmin:
yeah, a walk away. why?
Felix:
My school had a half day today and my parents were supposed to pick me up at sunbucks. But theyre running late
Felix:

Seungmin sighed and put his phone away. If he hurried, he could still reach his spot. If he didn't get there, he would have nowhere else to go.
It was just as he saw his spot in sight that his phone began to go off the hook.

Seungmin didn't know what to do. He actually didn't know why he was being so reluctant. Maybe he should just agree-
A group of boys all huddled into Seungmin's lunch spot, showing no sign of moving anytime soon. Seungmin was late.
Well, his choice was now made for him. Seungmin took out his phone.
Seungmin:

Felix:
omg thank you. I love you (as friends duh) so much rn!
Seungmin:
ok then, but i get a smoothie
Felix:
hmmp, fine -_-
Seungmin sighed and quickly turned in the opposite direction, towards the school exit.
