What rules him?
Not his God nor a king
Dangers fool him
He promises not a thingIs it carnal punishment?
Impatient when it comes to death
So he started rushing him
As he began to touch him
He started praying for his health
But prayers fell on deaf ears
Cries not heard, he shed deaf tearsPast the point of no return?
He cannot go back
To those lessons he never learned
And retake them
To those blessings he always burned
He cannot shake themWhats left of him?
Horrendous the welts on him
He tried to stop what crept in him
Instead he awoke what slept in him
