"Wh- what do you mean you choose no one?" I mumble
"Derek you said you would have a decision made by tonight?" Addison asks with a confused look on her face
"I am sorry! I tried. I can't choose between my wife and the woman I am in love with," Derek says
"Well this is just great. Thank you Derek. Thanks a lot," Addison says and walks away
"Mer, I hope you understand. And if I change my mind, I'll tell you. I promise," Derek says while trying to sound as nice as he can
"Whatever. Look, I gotta go now. I have better things to do," I utter and leave Joe's
Outside the bar
"I seriously cannot believe him. How can it be so hard?" Addison says with frustration in her voice
"So we're talking?" I ask confused
"I mean after him leaving both of us, I suppose it's only fair. Now we have something to talk about; our ex," Addison tries to sound sarcastic
"You wanna talk to me? Why's that exactly?" I say while looking at Addison like she was being crazy
"I'll see you tomorrow Dr. Grey. Hope I will get you on my service," Addison smiles and walks away
I was left there standing confused
