2 || There's always sunshine

"Alright people. Today's going to be a busy day so I need everyone to focus," Dr. Bailey yells

"Yay, another day of broken bones and bleeding noses," Cristina says with boredom in her voice

"Stevens, I want you with Shepherd. Yang, the pit. Karev, you are with Torres. O'Malley go to the clinic. And Grey, Montgomery," Bailey continues

"Are you serious? The pit?" Cristina says, "Ok well you're with she-Shepherd.. Good luck with that."

"I know.." I say

To be honest, I was actually happy. I didn't understand why, but I was happy to be with Addison today. There was something about her..

"What did I tell you last night," Addison says while standing right behind me

I turn around and see Addison standing only few inches away from my face

"It was only a wish. I'm happy to work with you Dr. Montgomery," I say with a smile on my face

"Call me Addison," she says, "Let's go, we have a 31-year old pregnant woman with abdominal injuries from a fall. She is 37 weeks pregnant. We need to make sure that her baby's okay."

After checking the patient, only thing left to do is for Addison to tell the patient what is going on

"We are going to have to perform a C-section and then a surgery on your son. But don't worry, Dr. Grey will be assisting and she is a fine surgeon," Addison says to the patient

I was in my thoughts. I thought about things I had never thought about before. How beautiful can a person be?

Suddenly I'm brought back to earth from my thoughts

"Dr. Grey? Am I correct?" Addison suddenly asks me

"Yes! Definitely," I answer without having any idea what Addison had just said
