Part 29

"MOM!"

Harin fell running out the small hill, leading to the beach from the street. Kiwon took out his phone and called Hamin as he watched Harin get to her mother.

"I'm hallucinating..." Her mom said weakly. Harin shook her head multiple times to show her she was wrong and went on her knees beside her mom.

"No Mom. I'm right here. I'm in front of you." Harin choked the words out of her tears and shakily grabbed her mom's hands and let her touch Harin's face.

"See your holding me! I'm Ko Harin!"

"B-but she left me.."

"That's because I was being spoiled! hm? Come on! Get up and i'll bring you home!" Harin pleaded with her mom but her mom looked frightened and scooted away from her.

"M-mom?"

"S-she's gone... How could she be here?!" Her mom shouted. She was going crazy.

Harin kept going closer every time her mom tried to get away from her.

"Your not my daughter! I threw her out a-and she never came back! I killed her in the cold! I never showed her how much I loved her and she's never told me she loved me either! I'm horrible!" Her mom cried. That thought deluded her mind even if Hamin told her Harin was happy and healthy.

"Mom I love you too and I'm right in front of you. Let's go home okay?"

"No! My daughter hates me! She died!" Her mom screamed. Repeatedly she kept on yelling "My daughter hates me."

"You didn't kill me! Momma! I'm right here!" Harin yelled frustratedly.

Her mom began to look crazy and walked closer into the dark sea. Harin screamed "No! Don't go there!"

Kiwon looked at the problem at hand after getting off the phone and saw Harin begin to run after her mother. Kiwon ran down to the beach from the hill and pulled her back.

"It's winter and dark! You'll die if you go in the sea!"

Harin pushed him away, not seeming to listen to him as she kept yelling crazily for her mom to get out of the water. Kiwon grabbed her and this time trapped her in his arms.

"GET OUT OF THE SEA! MOM!"

"Harin stop! Hamin is coming with the authorities just wait.."

"What am I gonna do?! MOM! I CAN'T SEE HER!"

Harin bit him and ran onto the seaside. She ran in, until the water reached her waist and the second she saw the big waves that made the water reach her shoulders she stepped back and was terrified. The anxiety hitting her that she froze.

"Harin?! Where's my sister? Where's my mom?!" Hamin grabbed Kiwon and screamed.

"They went in. I tried to stop Harin but she ran in to save your mom.."

"Harin went into the water! You let her get into the water!" Hamin let go of him and wanted to run after her but Kiwon grabbed him.

"Harin wouldn't go far. She's smart."

"Not against the water she isn't! She'll freeze up and get hit by a wave!" Hamin cried. It was shocking for Kiwon to see such an arrogant person cry especially for the sister he tried so hard to get rid of.

"What are you talking about? Why would she freeze up? She won't go too far in and i'm sure she'll run away from it."

Hamin grabbed him again, he was angry although he didn't show it he was the most worried for Harin. She came home traumatized by the accident his mom said but when he saw her for the first time in his home, she didn't seem fazed at all.

"DID YOU NOT KNOW?! HER DAD DIED ON A MOTORBOAT BECAUSE OF A STORM!"
