No one really knew what happened after that white glow. All of them only knew that they had created a bond with each other, not knowing what it actually means.
What does the glow mean, you may ask?
Well... not only did they create a bond but they also nullified their ability to write on their wrist and make it appear on their other half's wrist in exchange for a mark of their soul mate's initials
So how were they going to keep in touch with the Karasuno Royals?
The bond they made will make them feel the other's feelings but it will be more extreme to their specific soul mate. Take this scenario as an example...

Light Princess Sohee suddenly sat up, her breaths was short and rapid, almost hyperventilating. She had just woken up from yet another nightmare of a crying baby. Tears was staining her face as she tried her best to catch her breath when her brothers, whose chambers were about two rooms away from hers, came rushing in
"Sohee-ah, what's wrong? What happened?" Light Prince Jacob asked as Light Prince Chanhee fetch a glass of water and hand it to his sister
"N-nightmare... c-crying b-baby..." Light Princess Sohee choked out
"How long have you been having this nightmare, little sis?" Light Prince Chanhee asked
"Ever since I turned 16..." Light Princess Sohee softly said
"But, how did you know I woke up?" Light Princess Sohee asked
"A feeling of sadness, shock and fear woke me up" Light Prince Jacob answered
"That's the same feeling I had" Light Prince Chanhee said
"But how were you connected to my emotions...?" Light Princess Sohee asked
"...The bond..."
