peace is an emotion daria doesn't come across enough.
it has never been something she worries herself with until now. in the eight months that she has been waiting, peace and hope have abandoned her without mercy. she is wistful for what once was. she does not carry the hope that it will ever be again.
over the course of five days, everything changes. there is the hope of tomorrow and there is peace in the knowledge that he is waiting for her.

before you read the first chapters and rightfully judge my poor writing, i will say that you can read the first 5 chapters and last 5 and get the genera gist of the story (though obviously i encourage you to read all of it). at any rate, the rest of the series is much more well written so don't give up on me just yet :)
