1. the prince

two months later; february

strong arms were holding the tiny omega up to they sky, as he tried to get the kite of the tree. both wolves were smiling brightly, both were happy and both were contented.

even though a kite that is stuck in the tree shouldn't make them so happy, it does. they were happy, because they are with each other.

and nothing more than that can bring them to the level of happiness they are feeling right now.

"i can't reach it!" taehyung giggled as he reached his thin arms out to grab the kite.

"higher!" the omega squealed and the alpha holding him smiled as he held the boy higher. "just a little more!"

the small wolf, despite being almost frightened of anything, never felt this safe. even though height is also one of his anxieties, he didn't care, as long it was the dark haired wolf that was holding him.

"i have it!" taehyung grabbed the kite with his small hands and pulled it out of the tree. the other male chuckled lightly, as he let the boy down again. they smiled at each other.

the dark haired male had his hands now on the smaller boy's hips, moved them up to his waist. "i have the kite." the omega whispered shyly under the alpha's gaze.

"good boy."

*ring

taehyung groaned when his phone ripped him out of his sleep. he grabbed the annoying device and looked at the screen, furrowing his eyebrows when he saw his best friend was calling.

he took the call and held the phone onto his ear, only to push it away again when his best friend literally screamed at him. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"hey chim, i just woke up."

"you just woke up? take a look at the time, bub."

taking a look at the time, taehyung quicklsat up, his eyes wide. "school starts in 10minutes!"

"taehyung hurry up, i'll tell namjoon you're coming a little later." jimin said and taehyung whispered a small thank you, followed by a: "jin hyung will kill me."

jimin laughed at that. "don't worry, i'll protect you."

taehyung giggled. "thank you, my hero."

"all for you."

taehyung had to run— he almost missed the bus but quickly was on time before the doors got closed completely. he was now sitting in the bus, while his heart rate started to even a little. he plugged his earphones into his phone and listened to some slow music.

and then he thought about his dream. taehyung turned eighteen two months ago and since then his dreams started. everyday. everytime he sleeps, wether day or night.

the dreams aren't lucid dreams, yet everything feels so real. every touch seems to linger, every spoken word seems to be deeply engraved in his mind.

but there's one thing he never remembers and that is who that person is. all he knows is, that it's a tall alpha with dark hair.

there's nothing more.

no matter how much taehyung tries to remember the boy's face or his voice, everything is just blank.

taehyung furrowed his eyebrows cutely while listening to the music. he looked out the window, while leaning his head against it. it's february, winter, cold, rain.
