"Family and friends Tay'von Brixton" a doctor said walking into the lobby with clipboard in his hand, made all of our attention go to him. Standing up we looked at him as he looked down at the clipboard.
"Tay'von is in critical condition but he was only shot in his leg and his stomach, but he was brought here before he could bleed out, we rushed him straight to surgery and was able to successfully remove all bullets. Our visiting hours are over you can certainly come back tomorrow at 6am" he said before walking back into the room
Looking around I sighed while leaning back into our seat. My fucking heart stop the whole damn time he was talking, thank god he's straight. Standing up I walked back over to Zai seeing she was sleeping on Dee's shoulder.
"Zai I'm going back to my house, you staying here?" I asked while pulling my keys out my pocket
Looking back down at her I seen her slobber right on his shoulder. Laughing I looked over at Dee who was mugging her.
"Cuh what the fuck, watery ass mouth"
Walking over to the front desk I grabbed some tissue before walking back over to them handing them to Dee. Snatching them from me he pushed her head up so he could wipe his shoulder that was now wet as hell.
"Damn Dee, gon break my neck"
"Hush with yo slobbery ass" he said muggin her while still dabbing his shoulder
"Opps sorry bout that, but let's not talk about slob-"
"Ahh we ain't talkin bout me right now" he said mugging her before getting up to throw away his napkins
"Y'all is something else, but you staying here. Cause i'm tired as hell it's already damn near 4 in the morning" I said checking the time on my phone
"Umm I think I'm gon stay here with Dee he said he got a few cuts he want my help I guess, big ass baby" she said laughing looking over behind before smiling
Laughing I bent down giving her a hug before walking to the entrance an exit door of the hospital. Hearing somebody keys jittering right behind me I ignored it while pressing the button so the doors could open by it self.
"Yo where you going" I heard Shooter annoying ass say
Ignoring him I went to the second set of doors pressing the button again so I don't have to touch the door. "I know yo ass heard me" he said again but sounded closer than before
Sighing loudly I turned around before mugging him "What" I said pressing the key pod so my car could start and warm up by itself
"Fuck wrong with you, why you got an attitude an shit" he said mugging me back coming closer like he wasn't already. Stepping back some I looked back at him waiting for him to answer on why he was calling my name
"I asked you a question cuh"
"Ion got a attitude" I said rolling my eyes looking somewhere else besides him
"Yeah you do, my bad up in there I was nervous as fuck about what the doctors was goin to say, but I'm glad he straight" he said looking back at me making me smile a little
"I know, I'm happy he's good I was nervous as well. That's all you wanted, have a good night" I said turning back around about to walk out the building when I was pulled back by my hoodie forcefully.
"Damn Kari what's wrong with you"
"Nahh what's wrong with you, acting all nonchalant n shit. Where you going that's making you rush"
