✦ 𝙋ENELOPE ✦
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

𝙀uphemia Potter was a kind woman. Penelope came to learn this when James told her to come with her to his house, stating that they had room enough for the entirety of Britain. James had left Penelope with his mother that day, and Penelope couldn't help but cry when Euphemia had asked her what's wrong. Ada Carrow had never asked her what's wrong, never asked her about her day or feelings. And when Euphemia had done it, Penelope had felt like she belonged somewhere in life, after all this time, she belonged. Her bags had been fetched the next day at the Carrows. Fleamont Potter had went, and his trainee Auror, Alastor Moody. Penelope had stressed the entire day about them, knowing how her parents were, knowing how her sister was. Thankfully, they only returned with her bags and her torn portrait from the Family Tree tapestry. Penelope had taken the piece from Fleamont with hard eyes, but had cried into James' arms that very same night.

Penelope woke up one morning feeling sad. Remus had still disappeared, and Penelope still checked the map every minute she could, never seeing his name. She knew that it was stupid, considering the fact that the map only showed Hogwarts. She also found herself using her Animagus form more, taking Sirius with. While she searched high in the sky, Sirius searched on land. Never once had they been successful. Harold, her owl who James told her that he's going to steal his name for his child, swooped in, carrying an envelope and Penelope sighed. She caught it, sent the owl out with a glare and ripped it open. (She had sent a letter to Narcissa last night, asking her if she had seen Remus.)

Hello Penny,

If you still want to see your precious little boyfriend, you'll do exactly as I tell you to. It's worse enough that you embarrassed our parents in front of blood traitors like the Potters and that you live with them now. I have to redeem the Carrow name.

On the back, I've written the time, date and place of where you must meet me and I'll take you to your boyfriend. He's going to die if you don't come fetch him. Do you know what was a surprise to me? When he turned into a werewolf on a full moon night. That mutt bit one of our best and I unfortunately had to put him out of his misery. Remus will meet the same fate if you don't follow my instructions very carefully.

Don't come with anyone else, leave your wand, try any funny business and he dies. You can follow those three things right? They're simple, I don't want the body count to soar through the sky, I mean I wouldn't mind.

P. S, remember what I said Penny.

Maisie Carrow.

Penelope knew she had to show someone, tell someone, but she couldn't. As she turned the letter over to look at the address, the door opened and she quickly stuffed it into her pockets. The door revealed Sirius Black, who Penelope wanted to bloody strangle right about now.

"I could've been naked Si." Penelope growled at him. Their usual search brought the two together and they were mainly responsible for either turning Euphemia's curls bright yellow or turning Fleamont's tongue blue. At the end of the day, they don't get scolded that much even after Penelope tells the truth because she gets nervous.
