AFTER WHAT HAPPENED the previous few days, Evelyn and the twins had gone with Kol to San Francisco while Lucien needed to handle some business. The Mikaelson twins stayed up almost the whole night, catching up on the things that had happened and let's just say, Evelyn had to give Lucien right, she really needed Kol at this moment. Kol knew exactly what to do whenever Evelyn was dealing with something that was very sensitive for her and knew how to distract her.

It was the next morning, Davina had left for work, leaving Evelyn and Kol alone to watch the twins. Kol was glad he could finally be around his niece and nephew again instead of talking to them on a screen and actually spent some time with them. The Original thought they reminded him of the younger version of Evelyn and himself by the way Rosalie and Henrik acted.

Rosalie was very competitive when it came to games or practicing magic, like Kol and could have a temper while Henrik was more careful with his powers and maybe even a little nervous, like Evelyn was when she had her magic at their age, however, Kol was always there for her to help her and that was exactly what Rosalie was doing for Henrik.

After they had finished breakfast this morning, the twins decided to play around Kol and Davina's garden, playing tag while Evelyn and Kol continued to talk about where they left off the previous evening.

''So, you and Lucien finally decided to leave New Orleans?'' Kol questioned, his fingers pressing down the buttons of the game controller in his hand. Evelyn gave him a quick glance before her eyes went back to the screen. The youngest Mikaelson twin had her feet propped onto his lap and held the other controller in her hands. ''Finally?'' She retorted curiously, raising her eyebrow in a slight confusion.

''Well, after everything that had happened in that bloody town, I don't blame you.'' Kol stated which made Evelyn frown in response while pressing the buttons on the controller as well. ''We wanted to do what we thought was the best for the twins.'' Evelyn answered, letting a sigh slip from her lips. ''Even I have to admit that the New Orleans that I have grown to love isn't the New Orleans it is today and yeah, Luc and I had talked about it a lot, but there are still doubts.''

Kol furrowed his brows. ''Like what?'' He asked as he turned his gaze towards his twin sister after pausing the game, placing the controller onto the coffee table in front of them.
