chapter 3

Y/N POV
- we start heading over to anna's car since i took an uber here. as we were walking we made convo. it luckily wasn't as awkward as that convo back at the pier. i honestly would've never imagined this side of her she is actually really really funny and easy to talk to. i don't know how to explain it but being with her has been feeling like deja vu.
- as we approached her white range rover she did a cute little "tada!! meet bert" with her smile grinning from ear to ear
- i laughed with the biggest smile on my face too "well hello there bert"
- she giggled at my response as she walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for me
- "wooww chivalry isn't dead" i jokingly said as i got in. when i was all buckled in and ready she then put pluto on my lap, closed the door and proceeded to the drivers side
- "hey do you actually wanna go get something to eat before heading to the house?" she asked
- "yeahh sure what we thinkin?"
- "hmm how abouutt dons?"
- "how about what now?? dons?" i questioned her
- "oh shit" she said as she quickly covered her mouth "fucking evaaa! i meant mcdonald's sorry my canadian friend is rubbing off on me"
- "it's all good i like it ✨dons✨" i said speaking the word with elegance
- "haha stawwpp" she laughed shaking her head in disappointment
- "haha alright dons it is!" i enthusiastically said with my finger pointing up ☝️😌

ANNA POV
- we leave the parking lot after we decide on going to dons and start blasting music the whole way there. windows down and all i see to my right was both y/n and pluto with their head out the window basking in all the glory of the nice breeze. her luscious y/h/c hair flowing in the wind and the sun hitting her skin making her look so ethereal it felt like i was falling in love all over again. wow how can a person be so gawd damn beautiful.
- we got to dons and i ordered a lot since there's a lot of ppl back at the house
- "woahh i know we're hungry but u don't gotta make them go out of business with how much you're ordering" she sarcastically said
- "haha well i am real hungry but nahh this is for the rest of my friends/roommates back at home" i responded
- "you got 10 billion roommates back home or what?" she laughed
- "basically yeah we're all famous tik tokers that moved into sort of like a content house but our name is 'not a content house' how ironic" i explained
- "noice ! wait you're tik tok famous ?!"
- "yes ma'am that i am. i got like 8M followers on tik tok"
- "what the fuck not to be rude but i never seen you on my fyp"
- "wait what? don't u follow me"
- "um no haha trust me if i saw you i'd definitely never forget you"
- alright there is something seriously wrong she totally forgot abt me how is that even possible?? or she's letting this game play on for far too long
- "okay y/n let's cut the act i've been playing along this whole time but you're going a little too far" i said as we start to head from dons to the house now
- "ummm what act?" she says with confusion
- "cmon now bebe 4 years together can't disappear from your memory that easily"
- "wait whatt?? bebe? 4 years together? wtf are you talking about? is this a joke?" she said concerned
- "ayo i'm not the one making a joke it's you cmon stop playin! it's me anna !! i was your girlfr-" i was cut off as her phone rang

Y/N POV
- anna was scaring me with how her tone of voice got stern and i don't like it. and she was saying the most outrageous things i was in shock.
- but what was odd was when she called me bebe i got a quick flash of a girl calling me that in my head it gave me a massive headache
- "...i was your girlfr-" she said but got cut off when my phone rang. it was my boyfriend. i quickly pick it up trying to shake this throbbing pain in my head right now

- *i answer the phone*
- "hey bub! what's up" i said enthusiastically
- "hi bebe! i just wanted to check in and see if we're still on for tonight?"
- "yes most definitely i'm actually out with a new friend i just met right now so text me the address of your house later"
- "okayy glad you found a friend already just stay safe alright? i love you"
- "always bub. love you too! bye"
- *call ends*

- after the call anna sat there silently. i could tell she was trying real hard not to look at me. she looked sad but mad at the same time. i didn't want to add fire to the flame so i decided to take a quick nap so i can avoid ever going back to that scary convo again. i closed my eyes and i started drifting into sleep.

- after 3 mins i woke up or at least i thought i did. i was dreaming.

- *school bell rings*
- "omg i'm abta be late for class on my first day" i say rushing into my old high school back in michigan. wait but i don't want to be those freshman that run to their classes so lemme just slow down it's my first day anyways they'll understand if i innocently say i got lost
- i walk through the doors and damn this place is jam packed everyone pushin each other just to get to their classes. i suck it up and start walking through the vast jungle of people
- after what felt like hours the crowd started to clear up and i got through until boom
- "omg i'm so sorry" i apologize after bumping into another girl making all her books fall
- "it's all good" she says calmly as we both scatter to pick up all her books
- after i helped her get all organized we stood up and locked eyes. wow this girl is gorgeous. her greenish blue eyes, soft skin, luscious blond hair woah is this is how love at first sight feels like. for some reason i couldn't see her whole face it was like her face was blurred out and i only saw bits and pieces but ever bit and piece was beautiful. i gulped and shook out of my thoughts to introduce myself
- "hi i'm y/n y/l/n" holding out my hand
- "what a pretty name" she smiled
- wow her smile is so captivating it instantly makes me want to smile
- "i'm anna. anna shumate!" she said as she shook my hand
- "wow how formal haha well hello anna shumate" we both laughed
- our laugh started to fade and this bright light was fading the dream and just like that i woke up from my nap and we're going into the driveway of the NACH
- woah what the fuck was that? who was that girl? was that just my imagination or was that a memory? ughh my headache got way more intense
- "hey are you okay?" anna said concerned with her hand on my shoulder
- her warm touch. i've felt it before. i close my eyes tightly, breathing heavily trying to remember. she shook me trying to snap me out of it and i jerked at her quickly which made her pull away with her hands up
- "yeah yeah i'm fine i just need to lay down" i said as i massage my temples
- "sure we can go inside and you can lay down on my bed if you want" she calmly said
- "alright thanks" i said while giving a weak smile

sorry guys i've been super busy with school and finals but i promise it's gonna get juicier :)
