Lately ever since me and my dad have talked we've been in good terms and my school life is great nobody picks on me anymore. I mean I wouldn't say that I'm popular but I'm not in the 'unknown' category anymore.
"MOM I NEED A NEW XBOX" I yelled. I heard her footsteps coming up the stairs "what I just bought that Xbox Justin" I eye rolled her "what, this Xbox is like a million years old... Ok maybe not" "well try and fix that one and if it's really broken then I'll consider getting a new one for you" she said and left the room
I sat back on my bed and looked at my phone
Tally: hey we're all going over on the east side to the batting cages you with or nah? ;)
I replied quickly and got dressed "hey mom I'm going to the batting cages with the gang" "ok be careful and be in by 12" she yelled back. Outside the weather wasn't that cold but not that hot either I had forgotten what season it was so yeah there goes your weather update.
I caught the 9 bus going uptown over to the east side. I never really take the bus unless I'm too lazy to use my car so. I got off at the stop and started walking until I hit the batting cages basically everyone was there April, tally, roger , Peyton , jasper and some other kids from school that I knew
"Look who decided to show his face late to the party and no handouts wow justin this is a new low for you" roger stated "shut up why are you guys over here anyway?"I asked "tally and jasper are up at a bet" Peyton said I didn't even wanna hear about that because those stories can go on forever so I stayed quiet "where are we after this?" I then asked
"Don't know but as usual we'll end up somewhere" roger said and we did end up somewhere. We went to the shake shack after the batting cages to grab some food. "so what's happening with you Justin" Alex asked I knew him from the basketball team "I'm just doin me as usual" I said plainly "have you heard back from any colleges?" Peyton asked
"I just applied days ago" I said she gave an 'oh' sign "guyssss I don't wanna go to college I wanna stay here and live our lives here like we use to" roger whined "nothing's gonna change wee just growing" I said "but what if we meet new friends and start distancing from each other" he said "100% all day everyday squad" tally laughed "aww your gonna make me cry" April said
The colleges that we all applied to wouldn't be far away from home. So neither of us would live on campus because our house is like a mile or 2 away. "damn I gotta go to my dads house today" I said "why" roger asked "he and my mom agreed that I would spend the weekends with him and the weekdays with her so I guess it works out for everyone" "so now you'll have like two houses" Alex said "I guess yeah" I laughed
"People that chew with their mouths open are animals" roger subbed "oh sorry I can't help it" Alex said "and learn to use a napkin" he whined "oh roger shut up your not the classy guy that gets to downgrade everyone just because you think your top noche" Peyton said "Peyton were gonna fight one day" he threatened "bring it on" she said
"It's ok I know I'm bad" he said "yeah bad at being bad" I said "is that a compliment Bieber?" He asked "maybe maybe not" I said
School was ending soon and I needed something to look forward to during the summer. "What if we all don't go to college and we all just get jobs here in the city" roger said and everyone just stared at him "that would be nice but I've already been accepted" tally said "its on we're still gonna see each other" Peyton said "I don't believe you if your not pinky promising" roger said she held out her pinky "no no it has to be a group pinky promise" he said
"Cmon that's too much work" I said "Justin pinky now l" he said sternly so I gave him my pinky and so did the others "this feels weird" I complained "jasper your hurting my pinky" April complained "that's not me that's Alex's pinky" jasper said "how are we gonna get out of this" I said "ok on a count of three everyone let go" tally said "1, 2,3" and everyone let go "ow omg Jesus" was the complains made from everybody "I love you guys"
