A/N: The following poem was selected by the America Library of Poetry for the 2012-2013 book called 'Discovered.' 'Discovered' is a compilation of student authors through all levels of schooling until college. It will be published in said book under my real name (of course) later this Fall. The books themselves are supposed to arrive in December.

The world cannot contain our minds,
For those of us that wish to try
To show the world, jump off the roof;
Our hearts, our souls are bulletproof.
Sing your spirit loud and clear
They only know from what they hear;
Show the world, jump off the roof;
Our hearts, our souls are bulletproof.
Say what you mean, do what you say;
They think you’re only “every day”;
Show the world, jump off the roof;
Our hearts, our souls are bulletproof.
And from the ground they all decree
They only believe what they see
So show the world, jump off the roof;
Your heart, your soul is bulletproof.
So jump.
