Always. Have. Layers. If you don't have sweatpants, invest in those. Wear tons of sweatshirts. It'll help.
I personally prefer outdoor over indoor. Don't hate me, but I think the marching band is cool. Even if they can be annoying at times, it's way more fun with the band.
