"well that was pretty easy, and you know what. i said? the day i got unbanned from the dream smp? The day i said i was running, i said things were gonna change" schlatt smiled as he finished that sentence yet not quite done with his speech
quackity and george by his side
schlatt looked down and scanned across the heaps of people gathered to watch his glorious victory
"i looked EVERY citizen of l'manberg in the eyes and i said you listen to me, this place will be a lot different tomorrow,"
"my first decree, as president of l'manberg, the EMPEROR OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY IS TO REVOKE THE CITIZENSHIPS OF WILBUR SOOT AND TOMMY INNIT"
the crowd went crazy, disbelieved shouts and protests of wilbur and tommy
"GET THEM OUT OF HERE THEYRE NO LONGER WELCOME" schlatt shouted as the citizens listened to their president hanging up against the two brothers
the two fled as search party's looked whilst schlatt continued
"where's tubbo?"
"i- i'm right here!" tubbo replied to schlatt, who was staring him down from the podium
"get up here, get up here on my podium, tubbo get up here" schlatt beamed with his words twirling into much harsher tones with every syllable
"um- i've, i'm actually currently- i need to, i do want the job" tubbo squeezed out, feeling small as a mouse.
he didn't want the job
but he didn't have a choice
he faced either being murdered or exiled
or power
so he chose power
out of fear
tubbo walked up to the podium and stood by schlatt.
( A/N hey guys just thought i'd very quickly explain the sudden time jumps. these short started chapters are just to set the tone of the main story to show how things lead up to that point. next chapter takes place from around tommy's exile.
it'll all make sense around next chapter as that's when the story begins proper and within the same time frame, thank you for being patient :) )
