My Hero

Becoming a master

In the very afternoon while I was going home I noticed something in my right hand. I am a student from the Mage Academy so I know what this is and what it means but why? My father is a mage but he's not in Japan right now but both of my grandparents are magi so they can explain. I headed to where my grandparents live, once I got there we all sat down in the dinning table and I began "In my right hand I have command spells, so why am I chosen for this?" I asked " Your father was in a Holy Grail War before, so chances were high you would be too" my grandfather said, I continued "If I am chosen for this war then I need a servant right?" both of my grandparents nodded "We have artifacts in the basement I'm sure one of them can bring you a historical hero" my grandmother said.

"A historical hero?" I thought I went to the basement and saw many different types of artifacts. I looked around and something caught my eye it was a piece of gold, I didn't have a clue where its from but it looked good enough to give a good servant. "This is going to be my first Grail War, I need a servant that is strong to win a Saber or Caster is good but any is good" I thought. I went to a random place in the forest and I began the summoning. I started the ritual for summoning a servant, I finish the summoning and I couldn't see well because of all the fog the wind made while I was summoning. After most of the fog is gone, once I opened my eyes there I see a man standing in front of me. He was pale and he's clothes are made of gold and black and some fluff in he's back and a spear or a lance he's holding.

"Are you my master?" he asked I nodded "Very well then I am Karna and my servant class is Lancer I will help you succeed in this war." he said "Are you Karna the Hero Of Charity?" I asked he nodded and said "Yes I am."
