I force myself to be who you choose,
To avoid unnecessary conflicts.
I change myself to what society wants,
To make myself believe that I belong.

I have a load of personality,
Do you see it?
I can be this, that, anything you want,
I've grown used to it.

Pretending is child's play,
When you've done it your whole life.

People tell you to be yourself,
To not listen to the other's opinion.
But the moment I did,
I was shunned.
Thrown out by the people,
I deemed my family.

I got lost in trying to please everyone.
I forgot who I was.
