AN; I want to thank all of you for reading this and I hope you all enjoy it. Also, shoutout to @Swordmage21! Your theory comment was very much help and very appreciated that I am working it into the story. So I want to make sure you also get credit. Again, thank you all and enjoy!

When you lost consciousness, the paramedics came and checked your vitals. They had to give some medicine in order to stop the convulsion. It didn't take long for them to get you into the hospital. Emergency Department personnel had you in a room and then moved to ICU when they realized that you had gone into coma naturally. They ran tests and the police asked questions at the diner to put together what happened. It also helped that the office you were in, had some security footage.

Your former boss was arrested for obvious harassment and abuse of his position as your supervisor. This was done on the request of the owners of the diner. Unfortunately for the doctors, it didn't give them much to go on in determining what caused your body to react the way that it was. At least they were able to properly identify you and your emergency contact person; one Mr. James Smith. They called both your residence and his to leave a message.

Until then, they would have to wait and see. In the meantime, they would need more information on their new patient.

As all of this went on outside of your consciousness, inside you were somewhere else completely and yet still there at the same time. You felt like you were in darkness, walking along a long path that seemed to be going nowhere. Continuing down that path, in what seemed like forever, you reached what looked like a dark pond.

Sitting on the ground and looking in, you saw your reflection. It then started to change into a younger version of yourself with a strange tattoo on its forehead; one that you noted looked like some of the seals you've seen before on Naruto. Then, as if it were a horror film, you were pulled into the dark waters...

The place that you now found yourself in looked like it was in someone's kitchen. There was a young woman at the stove and a slightly younger version of your neighbor sitting at the table reading something. They didn't notice you; or rather they couldn't.

You realized that this seemed more like one of those memories being seen on the Harry Potter films. So you continued to watch, knowing that there wasn't anything else to do.

It wasn't long before a very small child came running in. She first to the woman and then to your neighbor:

"Okāsan!" She said as she hugged her mother's leg.

The woman chuckled and patted her head.

"Good morning."

The little girl went to the table.

"Otōsan! Good morning." She said and smiled.

That's when you got a good look at the girl.
She was you!
And more so, you had called Mr. Smith your father.
'What's going on?'
'What is this place?'

You were stunned and unable to move but now you needed to more. Thankfully, the scene continued.

"Good morning (Y/N)-chan! Are you ready to start your training today?"

"Hai! I can't wait."

He chuckled.

You then started to eat your breakfast while your parents spoke to each other

Your mother had sat down and she had a small frown. She turned to your father.

"Are you sure that it's the right time? She only four."

"Nonsense dear, it'll be fine. You know we started training this early too. All the clan kids did."

"Yes, I know. I'm just afraid. This place, it's different and the same. Dangerous and not at the same time."

"You know... we would have died on that mission. If it wasn't for Hamura-ojii and we were only twelve."

"..."

"He said that we would be able to get back. He said that we just needed to wait for the right time, that we would know it when it comes."

"Yes I know, but what if it never happens. He said that this place is parallel to ours; a parallel universe that only crosses paths when the conditions are met; whatever that means. He said that it has to cross paths again. What if it doesn't?"

"Then it doesn't. It can't be helped."

"How can you be so calm?!"

"Because we're shinobi and my dream is to become Hokage. If I can't handle this, then how can I ever hope to be the Hokage that my grandfather and grand uncle was..." *sigh*

"..."

"Look, we have to be strong. If not for our families or ourselves, then for our daughter. You were only able to half listen due to your injuries. Hamura said that he needed to do something like this in case his mother Kaguya was ever unsealed. That she would once again try to destroy the world."

"What do you mean?"

"He told me that he knew she would have her backup plan and that his brother Hagoromo would have his. He gave me seals for emergencies. Said that they were linked to his chakra and that with it, we would know when. Some of the seals are for storage and had some extra supplies."

"..."

"We have to train to get stronger if we want to survive and go back home. As much as being Hokage is important, what's even more important is to bring our family back home. It's been hard on us both and I know we've missed much, but at least our child didn't have to get involved in any war."

You realized that you were crying at the same time that you noticed your mother was as well.

"Aishiteru Senju Nawaki."

She spoke quietly and it still sounded loud to your ears.

As you faded from that place, you found yourself back in the quiet looking field; you were now laying on the ground looking at the sky. You were left with so many questions and had no way of knowing how to get some answers. There were bits and pieces of memories that were coming to surface. In all honesty, as much as you wanted to believe that this was all real; you couldn't help but wonder if you even knew what reality was anymore.

Would you ever know? You sat up and hugged your knees as you thought about what you learned. Although some of the things that were said had made sense, you couldn't help but wonder if it was something that your mind made up. Perhaps you really have been stressed. You couldn't help but to start shouting and cussing in anger and frustration.

You probably would continued if it wasn't for the gentle hand that settled on your shoulder. Looking back, you came face to face with the one that was supposed to be your mother.

"Ohaiyo musume"
