"SUCK IT, RICHARDS!" i cheered. noah, blake, and i had won in beer pong against kio, hailey, and josh.
"oh please, you got lucky!" josh sneered.
"i refuse to lose to you!" hailey said.

i blew my vape smoke in her face.
"no," i said while giggling.

i was sitting alone by the drinks when i was greeted from behind with a hug.
"hey you!"
it was bryce. his breath smelled like black cherry white claws.
"hey bryce."
"why are you sitting alone? at a party?" bryce laughed.
i sighed.
"because i don't really know any hype house members, and the ones i do know aren't here."
i pouted.
"and hailey left me for kio."
bryce scooped me up bridal style.
"well i wanna tell you something, so you're coming with me."
he took me upstairs into a room and closed the door.
"so, what did u want to-"
"i really, really, really like you." he blurted out, cutting me off.
that caught me off guard.

there was an awkward silence between us.
"no, no you don't. you-you're just drunk and horny."
bryce laughed.
"you're right. but i do like you. sober bryce is gonna want to kick me in the balls for this, but oh well."
bryce took a deep breath.
"emily, i know that this is a bit random, but i've wanted to tell you how i feel for the longest. i love everything about you, and you're the most amazing girl i've ever met. i'm hoping you feel the same?"
there was another brief pause.
"bryce i-"
i was cut off by bryce's lips smashing into mine. i was startled at first, but i eventually deepened the kiss. bryce's hands traveled down to my waist (you horny b im not writing smut 💀 🙄🤚) as i was playing with his hair. we both broke away from the kiss, catching our breaths.
that was intense.
"you do not understand how long i have wanted to do that for." bryce said, with a smile creeping up on his face.

being honest, that was hot. and all of a sudden, i looked at bryce in a new light. he's pretty fucking attractive.
