When times are rough, and you can't be tough, pick up a book and read.
Sure, it's easy and pretty simple, but it's just what you need.
To be whisked away to a new land, and leave behind your worries.
Hours on end, you can spend, caught up in all the stories.
What's considered impossible suddenly has come to life.
Elves, witches, talking animals, even a cursed knife.
All too soon, you've read it all and made it to the back side.
You'll close your book and whisper, "Thank you for the ride."
