The Cataclysm is mostly forgotten by people after 500 years passed. Those who were part of the destroyed nation were either turned into Hilichurls or got the curse of immortality, paired with a declining mental state from living for so long. However, there is a man who is an exception to that. A man who was born just a few weeks after the Cataclysm and inherited the curse of immortality, but not the declining mental state.
