Haciendo que las grandes potencias del mundo se dividan entre solidarizarse con un país y oponerse a otro. En todo el transcurso del libro se narra todo el conflicto interno que tiene el gobierno mexicano para no causar ningún tipo de guerra contra su vecino, pero sin darse cuenta este generaría una de las guerras frías más grandes de la historia haciendo así que la posibilidad de que la 3ra guerra mundial este a una sola decisión del presidente mexicano.
