might (??) be one of the few people who've conjured up an isekai type of story involving the spider-verse (miguel o'hara to be exact) ============== ruben, an average burnt-out teenager, is strolling along the busy streets of present day new york, when suddenly- they discover something catastrophic. their own world is collapsing on itself. of course, in a rushed panic, they run, but it's rather futile and useless. blinded by their fear and panic, they get hit by that DAMN truck that you see in every isekai ever. as expected, their consciousness leaves their body and transfers into a new vessel, to give them a second chance. and it might just last forever this time, as their body is now made from metal and wires rather than flesh and bone. and this second chance? they get a brooding, tall spider-man variant from the future, known famously as miguel o'hara. and ruben is definitely not up for it. ============== NOTES: - this fanfic is a WORK IN PROGRESS!! this is also my first fanfiction that i actually put effort in lmao - ruben is a minor, so there's definitely no weird romance-like stuff going on between the two - yes this is a self-insert, NO i don't care if you wanna insert yourself (i highly encourage it! im also not going to spend my time rewriting the whole thing to fit the readers perspective and i am so sorry abt that ;;) - my irl friends found this and now i am humilitated COVER ART BY ME!!
