before Jinora was born, Tenzin and Lin had a son. born 11 years before Jinora, Zurin grew up to be a prodigy in Airbending and had soon became an Airbending Master by the age of 12. 

Zurin was an exact replica of his father, very strict and serious when needed. He also looked identical to his father when he was young, with the dark hair and grey-blue eyes and the aura of seriousness and calm around the both of them. 

but Zurin had then grown into a very patient and calm boy. growing out of his shell of his father's image and becoming a mixture of Tenzin and his grandfather Avatar Aang. 

Now during the year 170 AG, Zurin is the youngest Commander in the world and the right-hand man of General Iroh II.

When Tenzin realises that Y/N is an Airbender and an orphan, he takes the boy back to Air Temple Island to train him as an Airbender. He and his wife, Pema also decide to adopt Y/N as their son. The young boy goes on to be an older brother to Tenzin's two daughters, Jinora and Ikki and his son, Meelo. Y/N advances very fast in his Airbending training and after five years of training Tenzin makes Y/N an Airbending Master. Y/N starts uses his Airbending to help the people of Republic City in secret. One day his life changes when Avatar Korra comes to Republic City in order to be trained in Airbending by Tenzin. Y/N helps her train and the two of them along with their three friends Mako, Bolin and Asami form the new Team Avatar in order to stop The Equalist's and their leader Amon.
