A full year has passed since Korra, Asami, Mako and Bolin defeated the conquerer Kuvira. And, even though the event brought them closer as a whole (some closer than others), they soon found themselves whisked away by the duties of everyday life. But, Asami Sato gets the chance to change all of this when Korra is called to week's trip to monitor the Spirit World. Who would've known the events of just 7 days could bring the group together so? A calm and peaceful day was a rare occurrence for Jinora and Kai, sooner rather than later they would be on their next whirlwind adventure. New friends, old enemies. The hunt for ancient treasures, wonderful wildlife, and true love. Obviously none of my own characters. I love these characters and wanted to write this story, and would enjoy writing more. 30 years after the creation of the Earth Republic the peace Avatar Korra and Prince Wu built came crashing down. After the mysterious death of Avatar Korra a movement begins to centralize the Earth Republic under one man Yuchen. He pulled the little wealth from the Southern states and concentrated it into Ba Sing Se. The next 14 years tensions grew, but when those tensions explode the new Avatar Guang, a 14 year old boy living in a small sand bender village, changes his life forever. Avatar Guang will be thrown into Avatar training while only just learning he was the Avatar a week befre. Can he succeed and bring a lasting peace to the Earth republic read to find out.

The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe.
