At 14, Adeola Edere lives a typical life with her mother in Abuja, Nigeria. That is, until she receives an email from the Ontario Catholic School Board, announcing that she has been invited to study in Canada for the rest of her Secondary school education. As Adeola navigates this new world, new experiences, and a new home halfway across the world, she learns about race, faith, class, friendship, and more. She has to learn to bridge the gap, between who Nigeria thinks she should be, Canada thinks she should be; and who she wants to be. Update schedule: Saturdays and Wednesdays, 12:00pm EST TWs: Generational trauma, Racism and Racialization, etc....
