Lani's parents send her to a correctional facility on Kauai, Hawaii after she gets into a big fight with her enemy.

Lani is sure that her crazy love struck ex boyfriend will come save her so all she has to do is stay out of trouble and wait.

This task proves difficult when two rivals in the facility both want her.

Koa is a sweet but dangerous Hawaiian boy who is the first one to help her when she falls.

Tanner is the opposite. He's rude and only cares about his lust for Lani.

"I knew you were going to be here tonight." It was Tanner.

I didn't say anything because I really didn't know what to say.

"I missed you. I feel like we haven't talked in forever. How's your first week been Lani?" He pushed me back onto the bed.

Quickly, I sat up ready to protect myself.

"So you're going to ignore me? Not a good idea." He inched towards me and I felt trapped.

"I'm sorry." I said hoping he would back up a little. He scared me and he knew that.

"Answer my question. How was your first week?"

"Good." I said vaguely.

"'Good'. I haven't heard that one before. Who would describe a week in a shit hole like this as 'good?' Oh I know who! Lani." He laughed like he couldn't believe what I said.

"Was it good because you had your little boy toy Koa?" He asked coming very close to my face.
