My name is Mako. My brother, Bolin, and I were raised by our parents up until I was eight, and he was six, when they died. Then, we were living on the streets and robbing people for their money. Not long after, a professional pro-bender took care of us in the arena, and we became pro-benders for the Fire Ferrets. When we entered the Championship- thanks to the Avatar- we didn't have enough money. After trying to figure out what we should do, a girl hit me with her motor bike. Her name was Asami Sato, and her rich father- Hiroshi Sato- sponsored our team with his famous Future Industries company.
Asami and I started to date, but her father didn't like me specifically because I was a firebender, and her mother was killed by a firebender. Then stuff happened, and Asami and I no longer had a relationship. Avatar Korra and I started to date, and my life got involved with the Republic City police- hence the username.
I was a detective for aabout three years, and Cheif Beifong got me a supposedly important job- to be the new Ba Sing Se's Earth King body gaurd and keep him away from Kuvira supporters. A lot more stuff happened, and Bolin and I got in an argument about Kuvira. When it all ended, Korra left with Asami to go on a spirit world trip.
