Hello, do you recommend reading the old version of faithful hymn or wait for the new version ?

Heya,
          
          I want to take a moment to elaborate on why I never continued to update Sword Art Online: Faithful Hymn, as I don't feel like I've ever thoroughly explained this reason.
          
          This mostly has to do with the fact that I despise with what I wrote down for the most part. What I initially started was so inspiring to me that this is what kept pushing me forward to continue writing the story. However I eventually lost sight of where I wanted the story to head to, so that's why the story diverged in such a strange way compared to where it was first heading to.
          
          Truth to be told, I never wrote down a plan or a script for myself for this story. Right after I finished writing a chapter, I decided where I wanted the story to hear towards from that point on. And for some reason I thought it was a good idea mid-way to change this story into a harem story rather than a well thought, full fledged original piece of work. This is why I never continued writing, plus continuing the story whilst knowing what I wrote down ages ago doesn't sit well with me.
          
          This also is the reason Alicization Legacy never continued. It's a sequel to Faithful Hymn.
          
          Meanwhile I'm working on a complete overhaul of Faithful Hymn, with improved storytelling, narrative, characters and artwork. But I'm not able to give a release date or anything of the sorts.
          
          I hope you all respect the decision I made 

The next tease will make some people realize what the announcement I'm going to make in the near future will be about. This time I've focused on finalizing the art of a character I've shown yesterday instead of revealing a new one.

The premise of what I'll announce will heavily surround 5 SAO characters. I teased one of those yesterday already, and now it's time to show her + a new character again in a more finished form!

NEW STORY UPDATE
          
          Hey all! I wanted to share a quick update on the progress of my upcoming story:
          
          Sword Art Online: Eternal Melody
          
          Writing the script for upcoming chapters is working out extraordinarily well, as I have already made the first chapter of whose writing exceeded my expectations. Hopefully its reception will be appreciated by everyone!
          
          Though, I'm not able to publish anything yet as my story cover is still in the works. It's close to being finished, after working on it for 25 whole hours so far. I'll publish the story once the cover is complete, as well as multiple chapters. In the coming days, I'll drop a teaser in the form of my new upcoming profile picture!

ANNOUNCING NEW STORY
          
          With his memories from the days of old and anew being robbed, Shoji must find his way to happiness once more. As he simultaneously has to take care and raise an AI Idol that will serve as the face of a new era for technology, Shoji tries to recollect events from his past to bond with new and old people that have always been closest to him.
          
          However, his loyalty and obedience into raising the AI puts himself to the test, as it's not just other people's sakes he needs to fight for, but rather his own... 
          
          Sword Art Online: Eternal Melody
          
          
          ABOUT THE STORY
          
          SAO: Eternal Melody will be a revamp of my most popular story: SAO: Faithful Hymm.
          
          Eternal Melody is a complete redo of the story. Not only do I improve the main intention of the story, I will also immensely focus on new content. New characters (gameverse included) will make appearances and play vital roles into the story. I will also change the tone of the story from a rather "depressing/dramatic" tone to a more comedic tone, a tone I personally believe would have been amazing for the main series. 
          
          
          PROGRESS SO FAR
          
          Currently, I've finished the prologue for the story, which will be quite the duration. While most people tend to make a prologue in one chapter, this prologue might require 10 chapters to truly mark the start of the story.
          
          What this means in the grand scheme, is that the story isn't far yet as I plan on making it a phenomenal compared to what I made in the past.
          
          
          CHARACTERS
          
          The story will feature only 1 original character, that of course being the main protagonist, Shoji. However, many others will appear as well. Alicization characters, Alternative characters plus some other gameverse characters won't make an appearance as the whole plot and involved characters all have to fit together, and a well-written plot in a single book won't be possible with a massive cast.
