Hi! I'm a published author who's learned I'd rather people enjoy my stories then make money. Money's great and all, but that's not why I write. I write so you can go on adventures that makes our gray world explode with color and teachs magic is everywhere.
A little about myself:
I'm a funny, Bohemian who loves my two kitties and smells old books far to often. I'm married to a studly man and live in a valley surrounded by forest of dear, lions, wolves, and Bambi's other friends.
I write sci-fi/steampunk humor where dragons are reincarnated as domestic cats. (That's why cats have such bad attitudes. They used to breathe fire and rule the skies. I'd be pissed too!) The story's called "Igneus the Black", the name of the main character who's adjusting, painfully sometimes, to his new cat-self.
I also write dark fantasy, diving into the spiritual world and illustrating how the darkness lies and tries to corrupt. "The Day the Devil Smiled" and "The Wizard's Legacy" are unique, intense adventures revealing the unpleasant side of life to show how to overcome. "The Wizard's Legacy" is for mature audiences.
Oh, and I'm a devout Christian who has pledged my life to Jesus Christ, knowing I'm bound for hell without His death on the cross.
Why do I write dark fiction even though I'm a Christian?
Because, even though God is loving and righteous, life sucks. A lot sometimes. God doesn't shy away from the gritty things in life, why should I? Besides, there was a time when I saw demons often who convinced me they owned me. Like a dog. Like a pimp. Like--
You get the picture. They tormented me, feeding me lies, trying to kill me from the inside out. They failed (*maniacal laughter*) because my God is also a consuming fire who battles more violently then a protective lion.
Wow. That intro was far more revealing then I intended it to be. Oh well. Now you know me. :)
