Alright, I'm back with a new start. I hate to confirm but Detached won't be continued or worked on. However! I used the base of Detached to write a completely new novel, and this one has a of of purpose for me. I have a really good feeling about it. Its plot is completely different but still uses Lydia as its main character. Right now I'm not sure whether or not I'll be posting it on here but I felt the need to give some closure for Detached and an intro to a new possible published book in the future. If you guys would be interested in keeping up with me and reading the new book in progress, let me know! I'll be working on it at a relatively slow pace with intentions of making it the best it can possibly be. I cannot thank you enough for reading and giving me the confidence in my writing that I needed to flourish. I have become the writer I am because of you guys and this website. I've learned some of the most crutial skills through other writers and hopefully future authors. I can't express enough love and appreciation for this website and the beautiful people on it. Thank you again.

At the moment I'm working on COMPLETELY changing chapters 3 and 4 instead of writing chapter 20 only because I've been dying to change and improve them and how they affect other characters/plot in the book 

I know it seems like I'm totally dead on here but truth be told I've been writing my ass off! Lol. I really recommend you guys reread the first two chapters of Detached because I've been working so hard on them for over a week and can proudly say they've drastically improved. Go check it out and make my day! Thank you!

Now that I'm going back and rewriting the first chapters of Detached, I'm realizing how much I've grown and improved as a writer. 

So for the past four days I've been working on condensing and improving the first two chapters of Detached and combining them into one chapter. Last night I copied it from my notes to post it and accidentally hit past in notes and deleted all of my hard work. Last night I called apple support and there's no way I could get it back and I cried because I was so happy with it. I don't remember anything I wrote and I'm so devastated. 

I really want your guys opinion on whether you like the aspect of Lydia smoking and how in depth she perceives everything. I'm not sure if it's too hard to follow or doesn't fit with the book fluently or if you're even enjoying it so I'd love to know. Thank you guys

Hey! I wanted to let everyone know I'm still active on here and I check how Detached is doing regularly. This week and next week I'll have regents and finals so chapter 18 is coming out insanely slow and I'm kinda pissed about it but I have so much going on with school. Once all my tests are over my goal is to concentrate more on Detached like I was a few months ago and really just get it done for you guys. Thank you for bearing with me!
