Why Life in a Nutshell?
Well because I'm a bit nutty, slightly salty, a little sweet and really hard to crack.
And as you know like anything with a shell can be, y'all have to work to get to the center.
But even if you do, there's no guarantee you're going to like what you get. Some nuts are bitter you know.
Nuts come in all shapes and shells, some are super hard, some split open easily. (I see you pistachios.) And Walnuts...whatever! I'll just buy the pre-shelled variety.
Some nuts aren't even real nuts, they're legumes. Like, why are peanuts even in the same category? Sure they're similar, but the shells are so weak, even a kid can crack them open with their fingers. Silly weak peanuts. Come on, grow a shell.
Oh and nuts can be deadly if you're allergic, so everyone has a warning label now. (Contains nuts!) I suppose I should probably have one as well. I may end up incorporating that warning in my author's notes.
So here it is, my life in a nutshell.
I hope you don't get hives.
