MISAKI'S POV

"You aren't leaving me."

I look at him and slightly smile. This might be the last time I see his face, so I just look at Levi. Everything just felt calm. I remember the plan Louis told me about. I was ready.

"I might as well tell you the plan."
Louis stands up and sits next to me. He grabs my hands and holds them.
"I really did love you in the beginning, and I still care about you very much. But as time went on, I remembered why I was engaged to you. The royal family has so much information about the beginning and the Walls. This information is valuable, but you keep it away from the commoners and noblemen."
"I don't know what you are talking about, Louis."
"Stop playing dumb Misaki. You know what I'm talking about. Back to my story. When you slept with Levi, it hurt but it didn't hurt the way you would have thought. At that moment, I lost my one chance to know the secrets of the Walls. I knew you have fallen in love with him, so when I left HQ, I decided to get my revenge. That's when I called up my good friend Kenny and decided to have you kidnapped."
"So what are you going to do with me?"
"Always so noisy. I'm going to have to kill you in front of Levi. I want him to watch the love of his life murdered. I want him to feel all his dreams crushed like he did mine. Then, I'll kill him."

I can feel tears running down my face. This is it. I close my eyes and wait for the blade to slice my throat but it never comes. Instead, there's glass and blood flying everywhere. I look down and my clothes are soaked in blood. I reach up to my neck and look at my hands: no blood. Who's blood is this? I look behind me to see Louis on the ground with his throat sliced open. I turn around and run into Levi's arms.
"I told you that you weren't going anywhere."

I grab his face and kiss him. I look at the window and see Eren jump into the room. I knew Mikasa did all of the work. I run over to Eren and Mikasa and hug them.
"I love you two!"

Levi leads me out of the house and I see Historia crying. I walk over to her and touch her shoulder. She jumps around and looks at me wide-eyed.
"Misaki?"
"That's me."

I pull her into a hug and kiss her head.
"Thank you for not stopping."
She looks up and hugs me tighter. We tell everyone her real name and that she's part of the royal family. They are shocked but soon got over it. Levi grabs my hand and picks me up.
"Wrap your body around me. We are going for a ride."
"This gives me flashbacks."

I obey and wrap my arms and legs around him. They all start using the gear and we made it to the hole they entered from.
"Let's go home."

Just as we were about to leave, I heard Kenny's voice.
"LEVI, BRING ME THE GIRL!"

I hold on to him tighter. This is just like the day Levi was being chased by the Erwin when they rescued me. For some reason, I think this situation is a lot worse. Levi tells his squad members to leave and tells me to go with them.
"Levi, I'm not leaving you."
"You have to go. I need to know you are safe."
"Levi, can you shut up for just one minute and listen to yourself? What about me? I need to know you are safe and the only way to do that is to be here with you."
"Tch. Eren. Take her." I watch Eren run towards me.
"Eren, I love you, but if you touch me, I will hit you so hard that you won't be training for a month." Eren, being smart, steps back. "Levi, I'm staying."
"Fine. Mikasa. Eld. Gunther. Yeager. Oluo. Stay. The rest of you take Historia back to HQ, now." I watched as they all followed orders. "As for you." He turned around and looked at me. "I need you to stay put and don't interfere."
He kissed my forehead and they all left me up here without anything.

I watched Kenny's squad and Levi's Squad battle it out. I think Kenny was injured because he was leaning over. The rest of his squad went to check on him. Levi took this as an advantage and used the maneuvering gear to make it back up to me. Before I could say anything, he grabbed me and we left the underground.

The seven of us made it back to HQ before it was too late. I placed the shield around HQ again and went inside. I really need to learn how to fight. We were all walking to the dining hall, but Levi grabbed my hand and pulled me into a room.
"How did you knock all of those guys out."
"I didn't. Louis did."

He looked shocked. At that moment, I was shocked too. I grabbed Levi's hand and brought him to the dining hall. I got my food and decided to eat in my office. Levi, being Levi, didn't want me to be alone so he followed me. Once we got into my office, we started talking about random things. It was nice to be back even though I wasn't gone for that long. I knew Levi wouldn't let me out of his sight especially not for a whole day.
"Levi?"
"Yes."
"You know I love you right?"
"That's a stupid question."
"I love you, Levi."
"Tch. I love you too. Now eat."

What happened after that was a blur. All I remember is dragging Levi to my bedroom and admiring his face before sleep took over my body.
