*Few Months Later*
Arianna's POV

As I stretched out of bed, I turned and reached to grab my phone that was ringing.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hello sweetie. Your dad and I wanted to come and visit you today. If that's fine with you." My mom said.

"Ofcourse it is ma. What time are you and dad planning on coming?" I asked.

"We should be there soon. Let's spend the whole day together. We need to catch up on things." She says.

"I will be waiting here."

"See you soon honey."

I get out of bed in a hurry and showered. When I changed into some nice clothes, I began to clean up the apartment. I cooked up a nice breakfast for my parents when they get here. Even though they aren't my biological parents, I love them very much.

There was a knock on the door, and I quickly walked over to get it. I expected to see my mom and dad at the door, but it ended up being someone standing there with a large amount of red and white roses covering their face.

"Arianna Marie." Peter smiled.

"Peter. What are you doing here?" I asked shocked.

"Well, I haven't spoken to you in a while. I bought a rose for everyday and every hour that I've been thinking of you." He smiles.

"And how many are in these huge boquet?" I asked.

"Well Arianna Marie, I kinda lost count once I got to 325."

I looked away because I couldn't help but smile. Once I closed the door behind him, he set the large boquet of flowers on my kitchen table.

"What did I do wrong?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Why haven't you been returning my calls?"

"Peter. I don't want to hurt you."

"You're hurting me by not talking to me." He grabs my hands. "If you're afraid of me hurting you, I promise I won't."

"I know you wouldn't hurt me. You're a very sweet guy, it's just something you wouldn't understand."

"I'm pretty sure I will." He says.

"Trust me when I tell you this. Don't fall in love with me."

As much as I had strong feelings for Peter, I didn't want him to fall for me. I knew my illness wasn't going to keep me here for very long. I didn't want to leave him behind with a broken heart.

"Like I told you before, I can't promise you that."

I looked down, and immediately he lifted up my chin with his fingers. Our lips inches away.

"Kiss me." He whispers against my lips.

Slowly I closed my eyes as he put my arms around his neck. His hands slid down to my hips, as he pulled me closer to him. Our lips smashed together. Heat waves shocked through my body in lightning speed. Our lips swept together effortlessly. It was like if they were meant to be. As he gently backed away, our eyes looked straight into each others. Those dashing chocolate brown eyes, and that show stopping smile got me starstruck. I poked at his adorable dimple on his left cheek.

"That's all I've been waiting for to do." He whispers, our foreheads touching closely.

"Do it again." I tell him.
