Chapter 19

Bruno's POV
I picked Arianna up in my arms, and walked quickly downstairs. Her lips were purple, her skin so pail.

"Arianna, stay with me. Please." I tell her.

I put her in the front seat of the car and buckled her up. I ran to the drivers side and speed off to pick up Alexis. I ran towards Alexis house, and she opened the door.

"Where have you been?" Alexis breathes heavily.

"Arianna fainted! I don't know what's wrong with her! Hurry get in the car!"

I raced off to the hospital. Arianna was barely breathing, and Alexis was in labor, I was scared out of my mind.

Right when I arrived to the hospital, nurses were waiting there. I carried Arianna onto the gurney. Immediately Alexis was taken into delivery. Looking both ways, I didn't know who I should be with at the moment. Arianna was getting hooked up to a breathing masks, as Alexis was giving birth to my child.

"Sir, your wife is in good hands. Go with Alexis to for the birth of your child."

I was rushed into the room immediately. Alexis was having a all natural delivery.

"Okay Alexis, push." The doctor tells her.

She pushed and pushed. Finally, I hear a baby cry. My legs felt like jelly. She's here. Isabella is here. They quickly cleaned her up and wrapped her up in a blanket. She was given to me and I just looked at her and smiled.

"Welcome to the world Isabella." I kissed her nose.

Isabella looked alot like Arianna.

"Mr. Hernandez, we will be taking your baby girl to get her finger prints."

Isabella was taken from my arms. I walked out to the hall, and looked for a doctor.

"Excuse me Doctor. My wife Arianna Marie Hernandez was brought in. Is there any word on her?" I asked.

"She's in room 264." The nurse says.

"Thank you."

I walked over to room 264. Once I passed the guards, I opened the door and walked in. Arianna had a breathing mask on, IV in her hand, and a machine checking her heart rate.

"Hi honey." I say.

Her eyes were shut and I just watched how her chest would slowly rise, then go back down. I grabbed a hold of her hand and kissed it. Moving her hair away from her face, her skin was still slightly pail.

"You're strong. I know you will get out of this. Stay with me, Ari." I gave her hand another big kiss.

The doctor walked in and saw that I was sitting there.

"We are trying to do the best that we can do Mr. Hernandez." The doctor said.

I nodded my head, and looked back at Arianna. Her once luscious soft pink plump lips, were now a deep purple. Kissing her hand again, I walked out of the room, and headed towards the baby ward. I looked through the glass and noticed all the babies. Alexis was in the healing process. I walked back to her room, and she was watching TV.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey Bruno. How's Arianna doing?" Alexis asked.

"She hasn't awaken yet." I say.

"I'm sorry."

There was a knock on the door, then in walked a nurse, pushing in the hospital graded bassinet. Inside was a beautiful baby girl, wrapped up in a pink blanket.
