Chapter 14

*Months Later*
Bruno's POV
Now that tour is over, I'm finally on my way back home to Arianna. Once we landed back in LA, I drove back to the apartment. I knocked on the door with my luggage in one hand, and red roses in the other. The door slowly opened and Arianna stood there in her grey sweats, mint 'PINK' sweater. Her hair was in a messy bun and she was wearing her black glasses. She looked stunning.
"Bruno!" Arianna yelled, as she jumped on top of me.
I catched her, dropping the flowers and my luagge on the floor. As I wrapped her legs around my waist, I looked her in those breath taking green eyes. Smiling, I kissed her plump lips.
"Look at you. You look stunning." I tell her.

"I've missed seeing this handsome face." She pinches my cheeks.

I carried her to the living room, shuting the door behind us. I laid her on the sofa, giving her millions of kiss as she laughed.

"Those beauitful giggles that I have missed so much."

The only thing that had changed sense I left was how the apartment was decoarted. More brightful colors made the room stand out.

"How was the hooligans?" Arianna asked.

"Incredible as always." I answer.

"That's cool."

"I bought you somethings!" I yelled like a little kid.

Arianna began to giggle.

"What did you bring love?" She asked.

I walked over to my luagge and opened it up. Grabbing her gift, I set it infront of her.

"These two gifts for now! " I tell her.

"Oh snap. Big spender!" She jokes.

I began to laugh.

"Open them." I say.

Arianna opens the first gift. She grabs the miniature black Eiffel Tower that is covered in glitter.

"Bruno, you remembered! I love it!" She yells.

"How can I forget? You talked about how much you wanted it on the phone so many times." I said.

She gave me a kiss on the lips.

"Thank you."

"Wait, you have another." I said.

I stood up and got closer to her.

"Close your eyes." I tell her.

"Should I be nervous?" Arianna asked.

"Nope." I respond.

I take out a black case from my pocket, than took out the silver bracelet from the box. It was half a heart.
"Open them."
Arianna opened her eyes and looked at the bracelet. I placed it around her wrist.
"For?" She questioned.
I pulled out my key chain and showed her that I had the other half.
"Ever." I say. "Forever."
Arianna smiled.
"Baby. I love it." She cups my face and kisses me.
"No matter what, we are always with each other."
"Our love is forever." She says.
"Always has been." I tell her.
"Always will be."
We got comfortable together watching the movies. Arianna was stuffing her face with popcorn. Her left hand was interlocked with my right as she was also feeding me popcorn.
"Arianna Marie, you never told me everything that happen at your appointment." I mentioned.
Arianna's POV
I woke up very excited to have Bruno coming back home. There was a knock on the door and I ran to the door. When I opened it I yelled once I saw Bruno. He looked incredibly handsome. I missed him so much.
After Bruno and I got comfortable, we sat down on the sofa just relaxing and watching movies. All that has been running through my mind was about my Leukemia.
"Arianna Marie, you never told me everything that happen at your appointment." Bruno mentioned.
I stayed quiet looking down at the fluffy white carpet. "Ari."
"I told you already B." I say.
"I know you haven't told me the whole story. Baby, I can handle it." Bruno said.
"You can't." I teared up.
Bruno grabbed me setting me on his lap. He turned off the TV and looked at me.
"I'm all ears."
I played with my necklace looking down at my neon pink painted toe nails.
"Doctor Travis told me that I have some treatments available." I said.
"That's good."
"But I didn't take up on the offer."
Bruno looked at me shocked.
"What? Why not?" Bruno asked, sounding mad.
"It's not worth it."
"So you're telling your life isn't worth it? Arianna are you kidding me?!" His voice started to get louder.
"Bruno I have months left to live!" I yelled.
Bruno stayed quiet. His eyes began to water.
"Don't you lie to me Arianna Marie." He pointed at me. "Don't you lie. You know how I feel towards you."
"I'm not." I buried my face into his chest.
I cried softly not wanting to look up at Bruno.
"I'm tired of this Bruno. I'm tired of suffering. I know longer want this." I said.
"Sweetheart, look at me." Bruno makes me look at him. "I can't lose you Ari. I love you so much. Stay with me. Please."
I felt extremely guilty. Bruno wanted me to stay with him but I could no longer take this. The cancer was slowly tearing me apart. It wasn't worth the fight anymore. I think it's time for me to go.
Bruno's POV
"Arianna Marie. Please." I beg.
"Peter," She places her hand on my shoulder. "this hurting me physically and mentally. It's pushing my body to the extreme. I wake up feeling worse every day."
"Why haven't you told me these things?" I asked.
"I don't want you to worry about me. You were on tour and that's all I wanted you to focus on. My smile is hiding alot you don't know." Arianna explained.
Hearing her explain this all to me, broke my heart. The woman I love, is slowly falling out of my hands.
I kissed her forehead. I didn't know what to say or do.
"It's dark out already." Arianna says.
"Just in time for my final gift." I said.
"Final gift?" She wiped away her tears.
"Yeah. This one is a little surprise one. Come here."
I grabbed her hand and lead her to the balcony. I took out the paper and gave it to Arianna.
"What is this?" Arianna asked. She took another glance at it. "A star map?"
"Look for it please."
Arianna looked in the sky, looking for the star.
"How's all the guys doing?" Arianna asked.
"Good. Phil's wife is pregnant again!" I tell her.
"Really? That's good news. Does she know what she's having?" She asked.
"A girl."
"That's adorable." She smiled, looking down at the map and back up at the sky.
I stayed watching her, just admiring her beauty. Never in my life has a girl like her made me feel this way. This baby conversation made me think a little ahead in life, what a wonderful mother Arianna could be.
"Found it babe." Arianna shows me the map, than points at the sky.
"Is it that really bright one?" I asked.
"Yes. The big bright one right in the center."
"That's beautiful." I smiled.
"It really is. Why did you want me to look for it anyways?" I asked.
"Well you see babe. That star right there is name after the love of my life." I tell her.
She smiled at me.
"And who may that be?"
I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close to me.
"You." I kissed her lips gently. Heat waves hit my back. "That star right there is named after the most amazingest girl in the world. Arianna Marie."
"I love it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She kisses me.
She looked up at the star, and smiled.
"Arianna Marie Daniels." I said.
"Peter Gene Hernandez." She looks at me and smiles.
"One last thing I must do." I tell her.
"And that is?"
I got down on one knee and looked into those beautiful green eyes.
"Will you marry me?"
