(Don't Let Go Excerpt)

Hold my hand and don't let go

I don't want to lose you

Oh, darling where is home?

I don't want to lose you

Hand in hand, we will walk

I don't want to lose you

I'm thankful to God He brought you in my life

Now I can show the world that you are mine

You held my hand and won't let go

I'm not gonna lose you

Oh, darling your heart is my home

I know I'm not gonna lose you

Your hand in my hand, together we'll walk

I'm never gonna lose you

I promise not to lose you

Just know my heart is true

This poem is an excerpt of a song I wrote back when I was 16-ish. I originally wrote it because of how much I missed my sister. 3 years ago, she used to live in a dormitory near the university she attended. She'd only come back to us in our house on a Friday night then return there on a Sunday morning. And because we didn't get to spend much time with her, I decided to write her this song.

Then 2 years ago, I revised it as a wedding song for my aunt. Of course, I never got to sing it. But seeing my cousin so happy with his fire truck and because of the Christmas vibe I feel (for some reason), I decided to upload an excerpt. I shall upload the rest when I get back home ('cause I'm currently staying in my grandma's ancestral house).

So, there you have it. I hope you guys like it. Again, thanks for supporting my poems. Until next time!
