(YOU)

YOU are the sun that brightens everyone's day

You light up the room with the things that you say

Everything you do is perfect in every single way

YOU are the clouds that delight me when you pass me by in the morning

You calm me with every moment you walk by and smile so nonchalantly

Everything you do makes my heart beat every second, every minute you type words on my screen

YOU are the moon that reflects the beauty that I see in us

You make me smile and feel like time has come to a pause

Everything you do makes me believe you are someone I can trust

YOU are the stars glistening so bright that I know my dreams will come true

You are the living hope, my proof that I can do it though life may seem blue

Everything you do reminds me that I am not alone on this journey; I am with you

YOU are the sky that keeps me warm, sane, happy and still

You give me life, warmth, and love which you use on my wounds that you heal

Everything you do brings me right back on track which I'm glad is true and real

YOU are the ground that helps me stand firm

You helped me see things are not what they were

YOU are the only path I see

You are the only one I seek

YOU are the grass that sway after the wind passes by and the water that falls on each blade after the rain has poured

YOU are the flower that gives birth to life when your petals, filled with such vibrant colors, are all my painted firsts

YOU are the tree that gives shade to all things that breathe

Who are left with nowhere to go and nowhere else to be

YOU are the planets that make me seem small but alive

YOU are the galaxies that prove to me there's hope each night

YOU are everything to me but love and time

Because you are you and what I can't control,

One of the few I love and trust,

The only one whom I can call

To catch me whenever I fall
